More details about Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 outed
Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 is coming this year, most likely in October, and last month its AnTuTu score got leaked showing massive improvements compared to the original 8 Elite.
Today a new rumor out of China shares some more details about Qualcomm's next top of the line SoC. It is said to be using second-generation Oryon CPU Cores, which will increase performance by about 25%.
The GPU's independent cache is also allegedly growing from 12MB to 16MB, and GPU performance will be increased by about 30% overall. The chip will support LPDDR5X and LPDDR6 RAM too.
Those are all the details revealed today. The Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 is looking like a very solid upgrade compared to its predecessor for sure, and more leaks and rumors about it are definitely coming in the next few months, so stay tuned.

That only comes when 3nm becomes 2nm. Watch TSMC and Apple. Once they do it for the A-series chip, one product cycle later Qualcomm Snapdragon will follow.

Hopefully it supports 4k 165hz video and 480fps 4k.. also happy if it can support upto 3 200mp camera recordings simultaneous. Will be best to have more zoom and pip type recordings if it supports these features
