LG Optimus G2 will be one of the biggest launches of the year and we have already spotted the upcoming flagship smartphone from LG. The Optimus G2 was also seen in more clear images and of course, the video footage along with its specs was leaked a while ago.

Now, the images of the LG Optimus G2 for the Korean carrier LG U+ have appeared online. The back panel shot confirms the placement of the volume rockers along with the presence of a 2,540mAh battery. Furthermore, the Optimus G2 will be shipped with 2 GB of RAM on-board, rather than the 3 GB as rumored previously.

To recap the rumored specifications of the upcoming flagship smartphone from LG, the device will sport a 5.2-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The device will feature a Snapdragon 800 chipset with a 2.3 GHz quad-core Krait 400 processor, 13 megapixel camera, LTE radio and dual-speakers.

LG Optimus G2 will run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and the smartphone is expected to be officially unveiled on August 7 in New York.
