More Realme 13 Pro+ camera samples: a night tour of Bangkok
A few days ago we shared camera samples that we took with the Realme 13 Pro+ (which is yet to be fully unveiled). Those weren’t the only photos we took as the venue shifted to a river cruise, but only after the sun went down – a perfect opportunity to see if the cameras hold up in the dark as well.
Here’s a look at the zoom range of the Realme 13 Pro+. We start with the main camera at 24mm and 49mm, then switch over to the telephoto lens at 73mm and 144mm.
A good telephoto lens is vital for such outings – the “zoom with your feet” advice doesn’t apply. Here are some more photos shot at 73mm:
The tele lens is good for taking portraits of people too as it provides good separation of the subject from the background.
Note that the fourth image above was taken with the 24mm main camera. The stunning background is part of the reason why tourists visit Bangkok, let’s have a closer look.
The brightly-lit ships pass under brightly-lit bridges and buildings, which puts a lot of stress on the imaging hardware and image processing algorithms.
Sometimes, a scene fits better when shooting in portrait orientation. Here are a few more shots:
As a reminder, the Realme 13 Pro+ will be the first to feature Sony’s new LYT-701 sensor (which is in the main camera). It also features a LYT-600 behind the 73mm tele lens, there is a 16mm ultra wide camera on board too.
This event was focused on Realme’s work on bringing high-quality mobile cameras at an affordable price through the Realme Number series. The Realme 13 Pro and 13 Pro+ will have other headlining features, but the company is keeping those under wraps for now. A full reveal is coming soon.
