More Xiaomi Mi FlipBuds Pro details emerge day before announcement

Xiaomi is all set to launch its latest TWS earbuds tomorrow with the Mi FlipBuds Pro. They are touted as flagship grade earphones with active noise-canceling (ANC) and now Xiaomi Group Vice President Chang Cheng has revealed some key info ahead of tomorrow’s announcement.

The FlipBuds Pro will offer an in-ear design with adjustable rubber tips. The charging case features an oval shape and gloss black finish with an LED light showing you your remaining battery charge level.

We are also treated to several screenshots of the settings menus. We can see controls for ambient noise and full active noise cancelation (ANC). There are also programmable gestures for single and double taps as well as left and right earbud separation if you want to use only one of the buds at a time.

The FlipBuds Pro can also detect when you’ve taken them off which automatically pauses your music. There’s also an option to automatically answer incoming calls when the earphones are connected to a device.

Other options include earplug fit detection to ensure optimal noise cancelation, lost mode to help you track your buds if they have been misplaced and a low latency mode which would be ideal for gaming. The FlipBuds Pro are also shown to support the AAC, SBC and aptX audio codecs.
