Moto Z2 Play is now available at Verizon for $408

Vlad, 29 June 2017

Following its release in India a couple of weeks ago, the Moto Z2 Play is now available for purchase in the US as well, in gray and gold. There's a catch, however: at the moment you can only buy from Verizon, or from Motorola's online store for use on Verizon. An unlocked model will be sold by Motorola "later this summer".

The handset was made official at the beginning of this month after many weeks of unending leaks. It can be yours for $408 full retail. Alternatively, if you want to use an installment plan you'll put down $0 then followed by 24 monthly payments of $17.

Deliveries are currently set to happen by July 6. If you buy one before July 26, you'll also receive a free JBL SoundBoost 2 MotoMod provided you claim it at this website until August 9. Allow 4 to 6 weeks after your claim is approved for the $79.99 value free gift to make its way to your doorstep.

If you're interested in the Moto Z2 Play but haven't definitively made up your mind about grabbing one yet, perhaps the best thing to do would be to read through our preview of the smartphone, learning more about it in the process.

Well, not a bad deal. And considering the inclusion of the free JBL SoundBoost 2 MotoMod.

Specification wise, this is a glorified lower end model. Don't think because it features a Snapdragon 6 series that it should command such a price.
