I am in romania. I bought a motorola a1000 but after five months the phone couldn't read my SIMcard after I removed the charger. I think that overall it's a good phone...

hello. I am looking for a Switzerland-citizen who is using this A1000 with a Swisscom-Abo. Nobody can ensure me, that this phone is able to use 'live-tv' from swisscom. before i buy this phone,I want to be sure that this kind of video-streaming works for sure! thank you very much for your answers, swiss-people :-) regards

can someone help me in finding a solution for accssing the internet over the handset - I recd this handset from UK so 3-Gprs was the internet accounts as default. I was unable to select the local internet account.

I have the A925, and it accepts my 1GB card, so i have nor reason to believe the A1000 shouldn't

Hello,
I am in Nigeria and I have this phone.
I have not been able to go on the internet becos I can't get the required settings to get it working,.please can anyone help me???
The fone is good but the battery doesn't last once there is no signal in the area.

i hav a motorola a1000 to. i 1 2 buy a mem. card for mine. but what is the largest memory card it supports. by the way , i dont think 1 gig transflash cards are out yet :(

1. how i can get my a1000 to show WMV clips transferred from a computer, saved on a transflash card?
2. how do i get my PC WMV to show the clips from my phone saved on the PC?

are you jokin when i had this fone it broke practically every month. And i kept loosing my memory. It had very nice features but was still an awful fone. When the new Nokia N80 comes out, this will become the best fone by far, with the same features this fone has but more, including a 3megapixel camera, WLAN/WiFi (for broadband wireless internet) UPnP (for streaming video/pic and music to televisions/stereos, and also you can watch TV on it over 3G! So if ur lookin for a gd fone don't buy this junk (trust me its a pda not a fone and it breaks every few weeks), buy the N80! It's due out in the next week or two.

This phone is the best ever.... I had this phone for one year N I still love it.. 10 for this phone ........ I wach movies in class .. It's an excelent mp3 player.... A good camera .. what more can U ask for :) ... too bad for the speakers could have been better ....

This is one of the best offerings from motorola, unlike other brands motorola has been able to tap in gr8 style with functionality.

I also have this phone in the U.S. with T-Mobile as my provider and cannot get the email to work. Can someone please help?

qd, w550i has the best 3D stereo speakers on amrket currently. plus, it's a newer fon than this moto a1000. w550i has 256k colors compared to this 65k colors. choose w550 i for anytime or maybe u can top ur money up for w800i or w900i.

Can anyone please tell me how to unlock the 3 NETWORK GPRS on my motorolla a1000? I stay in africa and my friend from the U.k bought the phone and sent it to me.
I unlocked the 3 network, which allowed me to use it with other gsm operators..but when i want to browse with it, its says" u are not currently on coverage area" the gsm operators say that my gprs is tied to the the 3 NETWORK.............So is there a software or code to do this ?
