Portuguese is only available in phones sold through TMN-Portugal. In Italy (3) the phone has Italian, German, English,Danish,French,Swedish

Can anybody tell me with what languages the menu cell have. I wnat to know if have portuguese and if can I buy it with this language in Italy. Tks.

Yo Dean-3g you should really get this device it's very hot I just got mines in the mail today and I've playing for hours trying to figure out how to log on to the internet. By the way if someone could tell me how that would really be great.

HTML browser? There is one and its wonderful although i dont know which one it is. No limitations, for i bought it NOT in a 3G shop. Chinese characters? Of course it can read and write them. Remember, i bought it in Hkong.
So far i couldnt get to make it ring with my own .mp3's though. Anyone knows whats the matter with the software??

this is a good phone.
however a big minus is that it cannot read/write chinese characters. Any advice? Heard that hongkong is involved in this design...ironic.

Just wanted to know if anymore in the U.S. has this phone(Motorola A1000)? If they do then I would like too know if all of the cool features like the web browser and the navigational system funtional in the United States?

Does this phone have a full HTML browser? I know that the new A1010 is going to have one but I heard that the A1000 doesn't and only allows you to connect to certain websites. If anyone knows, please post a response.

Just bought this monster A1000.
Case: amazing, nice, cool and not as heavy as it may seem.
Battery: 36 hrs (2hrs talk + standby) after the first charge (8hrs).
Software: great but a converter and a file manager are missing (dowloaded free ones, work perfectly). It stucks sometimes when battery is low - sound is great - bluetooth is DA BOMB, fast, stable - Home, who knows how to get rid of the 3 browser labels? - Calls: sounds seem not getting the way you want, always "Hello Moto" - browser is also DA BOMB (and i bought the phone in Hkong from another shop so i can surf free of 3 limitations) - Messages, just amazing - Picsel viewer: AMAZING!
Camera: wouldn't say it is a 1.2mp, more like a vga.
It actually is more a cool toy to show around than a working tool, but it really does the trick with chicks ;)
Got enough cash or a good deal? Get yourself one.

From what i have seen a great phone, I am in australia and 3 are stupid they dont seem to know anything about the phone. just wondering if anyone here knows about GPS (Global Positioning System) on the phone, i want to be able to input where i want to go and then it give me directions does anyone here know if this phone is abke to do this function in South Australia mainly

Its a great phone. Features are very good. But its camera is good only in sunlight otherwise pictures are not clear.
Can anyone tell me about software for recording movies longer than one minute?

is the camera really that bad? it cant be surely. and is the battery that bad? if you need the DRM program for unprotecting music, the drm packager is at www.mobile.box.sk. repackage your music, and it will play in any phone cheers

looks like a great phone / PDA but can anyone tell me if you have to use the stylus to write a text message or can you use predictive text on the screen 'keypad'?? (ie do you need one hand or two to send a text??)
