Hello. I have a question. I am from Russia, but now I am living in America. I am about to go back in May. I'm planning to order A1200 from internet. Of course, I need unlocked cell phone, so it can work in Russia.
Can I be sure that it is going to work there? Because I am really in love with this phone :)

Hi Bassi, that was my concern. I've read most of the comments and besides some touch screen issues, the battery seems to be a problem. And in fact, how long does it last in stand buy and when you are using a lot?

I love my A1200, but the battery life really sux's... I even replaced the BT50 battery with the bigger capicity BT60, which only helped a tad bit. I to constantly charger my motoming. If anyone has a clausble solution, let all of us know!! Thanks in advance.

I just luv dis cel phn..its soooo cool n stylish.Its vry user frndly too..I havnt met a single person who saw dis cel phn in my hand n didn ask me abt it.Dis cel is my LYF!!!!

good phone!!! no problems just a matter of gettin use too,motorolafans really lets u doin anything with the phone down o overclocking the phone.motorolafans really lets u enjoy the phone more!!!

Ok, let me help everyone here... I have this phone for like, 8 months now. Since it's a linux based phone you can do whatever you like with it...
We at motorolafans.com have quite a number of firmwares for this phone. Whole bunch of applications and skins.
Some of applications include standard phone keypad for easy sms typing, better alarm clock, swap etc. etc...
You can really do anything you like with it. We even managed to add EDGE support and make it QuadBand. :)

I have been using this phone this the past 2 years and I really love it. Only the texting feature is real tough, both hands need to involved while typying one.

Hi,
I have been using this phone since a while now. The sms we get can be viewed onto our PC using the fone application and also be saved on notepad files but is there any way we can transfer them to the memory card. Also on the purchases of a new phone i wish to transfer all these messages to that fone? is it possible???? Plaese revert..

My phone keep constantly freezing up on me, I have to take out the battery just to get it to unfreeze not at all happy with this phone.
