I use this phone for the past 2 years. Initially, I was able to sync my contacts with my PC (MS Outlook - Windows XP). Now I am unable to copy the contacts to my PC. Whenever the phone is connected to the PC, and trying to copy contacts the permanent answer is "Unable to detect your phone". I tried with a few other computers, but in vain. Any solution pl?

phone is pretty good in every aspect but texting....if your a frequent texter then i dont recoomcend this phone for you and using the small touch keyboard on the phone is annoying to use

transfer ur phone contacts by placeing all ur contacts onto the memory slot then just transfer them over that way

I was initially sceptical and hesitant to get this phone because of the not-so-encouraging reviews. But I liked the design so much that I asked my brother to buy it for me from abroad. I fell in love with first use. The menu was straight forward. The battery life is almost the same as my husband's nokia E90 on standby mode. The speaker volume was good enough for me to listen to music as well. It wasn't as bad as I interpret from people's comments. The only thing that was a flaw is the earpiece that came with it. The clip was flimsy that after 2 times use, it broke. The 3rd time use, the earpiece was not useable. So I have to depend on the speaker phone. But so far so good that I even bought a 1GB memory card for it where I placed all the music and picture files. The model is not common in the Netherlands where I am from so it kinda attracts attention when you use it in public.

first insert your SIM in phone & turn it on.
then Press Second top button.
next select "SIM Card" From drop down list in bottom of Window.
after that press bottom left botton and then select "copy to SIM/Phone" From drop down list.
now Select "SIM to Phone" & press "Ok".

this is great mobile i really love it i am using it past 2 years its desine features user freindly options cam clarity everything is good i feel my self updated with trend with mobile after years also but only draw back is ringer volume

I have dis phone it works great the only thing is that the keypad is very small and the screen gets dirty fast other den that the phone is great!!

It’s been one week since I have this beautiful phone from Motorolla, and I absoluty love it! The design, features are awesome, everywhere I go I just want to pull out my A1200 and show it off, I would recommend this phone to anybody, however, you have to have common sense in order to use this phone, some people may not understand how to use it and its features, but then again after using it over and over you will get use to it, and soon learn to love it... get at me on MSN messenger at: curry_peaz@hotmail.com if you have any questions, maybe i can help

the phone is very good, I recomend this model, the aplications are good, I not have a bad comentary about this motorola phone.I have this phone once year ago and works normal.

yes, yes... i got one (version 'e', with exge support) for almost a year and a half... it's another 'great phone' from motorola. truth is that they build strong phones, designed not for geeks or gizmos-lovers (i'm one!) but for productivity... dislike: resistive touchscreen, missing 3g, wi-fi, gps... also more ram! like: you can do modding, expanding the native capabilities: overclock, swap file for memory, varios apps for multimedia file types not supported... PRICE!! specs says 1 gb sd capacity, i'm using 2 gb, and think it support 4... so... it's a good phone! not great, just good. and if some have one and are complaining... do not! you can either choose a phone that suits you better in the first place or change it!!
