Hi,
I am planning to buy A1200 ming because it is so stylish, but my friends are saying its photo clarity is not good, Battery backup is poor and it is hanging in between. I am confused weather to buy or not. please suggest. I want a good music clarity, good battery backup(atleast 24hrs), good camera clarity and touch screen should be good(i mean after few months touch screen wont work properly). Please send me an e-mail to my above id regarding this.

Hi,
I have a motorola a 1200. I have been using it to surf the net but unfortunately I'm unabe to download off the net. The message I get as soon as i open the browser is "continue interrupted download", for which i have three options 1) ok 2)delete 3)cancel. If i give ok or delete - it disconnects, but if i use the option cancel it connects. Even though it connects i'm still unable to download videos and if i try to it disconnects.
Would appreciate if anyone could assist in the regard and reply to craig_antonio@rediffmail.com
Thanks

I just got this phone as a present for the new years and i love it. It looks very unique, the touch screen if very optinal and has a big variety of different stuff. However there is one option that seems always to be on hold, but its ok. i like it.. Enjoy it, whoever has it.

Does anyone know if a sequel to the Motorola A1200 is on it's way? The Q's not a bad machine, but I think Motorola needs to come back with a good touch screen business based PDA, and with a better camera at that. It's a must. Thanks.

Maya- texting on the A1200 is fast and easy, if you're used to using the PDA stylus. You can quickly tap in the words, and the auto-dictionary will give you options as you spell out the words. Only issue with the dictionary is that it will almost always assume that you are trying to write the word with the longest spelling given the letters you've already input, so you it won't always be that helpful. Other than that, it's great! Plus, if you should be writing in Chinese, it gives you great pinyin (Chinese character romanization)guidance, so that you can't type in pinyin that doesn't exist (great if you're new to Chinese or if you are Chinese, but you're in a hurry), and for both English and Chinese, it gives you the option off writing in letters and characters, in addition to the use of the soft keyboard, if you like. By the way, after a year, you may start to have screen calibration issues, depending on how hard you write and how well you take care of your phone, which will make texting and scrolling through files slightly more difficult, but still doable. To sum it up, you should like texting with the A1200! Enjoy!

Marco, sorry, that last message addressed to Happy Heart was meant for you. My bad. Again, good luck. While I prefer the A1200, you'll like either phone. And by the way, both are phone's with meaningful names. The LG Shine is self explanatory, while the A1200 is also known as the Ming in China, which means Bright. Either way, you can't go wrong. :) Shine Bright, bro!

Happy - The choice between the A1200 and the Shine, is a choice between function and style. Simple. If you want a phone that does more (pda and regular phone functions, phone call recording, etc.) then the A1200 is the choice. It doesn't look bad either. If you're looking for something with all the basic functions, but smaller and more stylish, you'll be happy with the Shine. I can vouch for the choice, since I, more focused on function, purchased two A1200's, one for myself and girlfriend, but helped my friend to purchase the Shine, since he was more into style, appearances, and convenient size (not to say that the A1200 is to big... it's a good size for it's functions and the time of it's make, but it's about twice as thick as the Shine). Plus, the Shine is the perfect mirror for guys who are style conscious enough to want to carry a mirror, but too manly to actually keep a mirror on them. Both phones are a good choice. Depends on what you really want. Good luck.
