I just recently bought this phone and i love it!! you don't have to convert music files just to have music. I had to convert music files with my samsung d600. I've been listening to music with my 1200 all day long and it stills has full battery!!! the only thing i don't know is that I CAN"T USE THE INTERNET!!! i paid for it... but is there a program i can use to download so i can check my e-mail and myspace? like the full page HELP PLZ overall i like this phone alot!! i wish it had it least a 2mp camera with flash, but i have my d600 to do that for me. soo anyone HELP i need to get online with this phone!!!!

I have a ming for almost a month. I invested a lot of hours trying to sync the phone to my PC (Outlook). It was an impossible task. Completely inconsistent. No way I can do it trhu the cable, I have to do it thru bluetooth.
I could not make Motorola Phone Tools work well:
1-it took me many intents of installing and uninstalling and live update, to get to the version 4.36, the one that tech. support of Avanquest advice me to get. Once I got it i still had the same problems:
-events were trasmitted one hour later to the phone, (eventhough time, timezone and date were the same)
-events in outlook duplicated after each sync.,
-sometimes it would not copy selected events from the pc to the phone
-it would take a lot of time to find the phone
-etc.
Really completely user unfriendly, or worst, actually it does not work, I am considering, inspite of liking the phone to get another brand to stay away form M.P.Tools.
-I tried again in other computer and could not repeat the task of getting to install vs.4.36. Someone had the same problems and could solve them? Thanks a lot for any help.

hey B'John... the music quality is not that good as compared to SE... but yes its better than Nokia...
The volume of Speaker phone as well as head phones is quiet low... but, not to worry there are special upgrades available through which you can increase the volume..

I have the mpx220 ( v1.49 ) a fantastic phone and was thinking about upgrading to the ming. Is any functionality such as outlook sync available? Does it support sterio bluetooth? What format of videos can it play? Is there as much software available as their is for WM? Also, any comments on the quality of the camera? Sorry about so many q's but it sure looks cool!

Help me out. I going to buy motoming. Can u guys pls tell me the music quality of this phone though earphone. Can I connect third-party earphones. How loud and smooth is music through the inbuilt speaker. is it better than SE and Nokia. Bye and looking forward for your answer.

The phone is not large and bulky just ike a PEBL really - lightly bigger.
But if you're going for a touch screen phone surely a small one is counter-intuitive?
The lines are nicely rounded and the back is not cheap pladstic but a very tough rubber texture.
With resect to the E6 - the latest MINGs have firmware version 24p or 25p which is essentially the same. However- the E6 does seem to have a few extra bits and is more likely to be released/supported in Europe.

Dear Adil,
First you have to 'pair' with the device you are communicating with (which I assume you have done)
If not - use "Bluetooth" on main menu and then press "Search" and follow through
To pass to others -
1. use file manager to find the file you want
2. Press bottom left button (three lines) and select "share" from the pop-up menu
3. The phone will then list files in the directory which can be shared (usually all of them!)
4. Check the box next to the file(s) you want to send
5. Press "OK"
6. A new menu comes up........ "Share via..." - click the radar button next to bluetooth
(NOTE THAT EVERYTHING TO THIS POINT IS ALSO THE WAY YOU CAN EMAIL OR MESSAGE FILES TO ANYONE ALSO)
7. Press "OK"
8. From the "Send To" menu, select the device you have previously paired with
9. Press "Send"

About the moto ming i have no words to discribe the phone its SIMPLY THE BEST phone and i got it in the month of november and i am still rocking with it.But a bit dissapointed with the price scaled now as there are lot of phones in the market.

I got this phone 3 days ago, its a really great phone. i am having problem if anybody can help me, that is, how to send MP3 songs Via Bluetooth. i have no clue mine phone when it searches no device come but for the Images its comes right away.

the ming has one of the nicest feels of any phone I handled. The linux operating system is really nifty so hacking into the phone is really easy. the only bad part is since it is a touch screem dialing out is a little more work but not that much of a drawback. The internet works now but it was pain to set up because of all the wrong info posted on how to set it up. I also really like the sound resoulution.
