Hi. I just got this phone and it is great so far. Just one problem, when I make a call, it keeps prompting "Call Control is allowed". what does this mean? how do i get rid of this prompt? it just adds an extra step for me when i try to make a call. any help would be great. thanks

This is a piece of crap, this phone restarts frecuently when you open 2 or 3 applications.

its simply the best cell phone i hav used so far. it is user friendly & has a beautiful body. the only problem is that i m not able to use internet on my laptop through this cell phone. please help!

The battery life on this sucker is dissapointing but after getting useful tips from www.motorolafans.com i upgraded my phone with some great games and applications.

i am using a moto ming from last one month but it has got a problem,when we do two or three works together the phone restarts automatically.

The best phone i ever had.. first time linux user so things r difficult in the beggining .. but u get the hang of it pretty quick.. i advise all the owners to sign up with motorolafans.com there is a forum dedicated for the a1200/ming thats where i learned everything...great moderator/administrators.. everyone helps u.. so there ya go..overall rating on phone 10/10 ppl complain about the speaker volume.. well guess what u can raise it.. hope i was able to help...peace

hey vicki, i read ur comment for the motorola A1200, and i see it looks like you got your internet to work. i was told it cant work because the phone is from overseas, but if you got it working, i was wondering if you could tell me how u got it to work.

Plese help..Voice Mail - I put my cell phone number in the voicemail setting - and when an incoming voicemail shows up the screen reads incoming message. There is nothing there. I have to call my number to get my messages. I know I'm doing something wrong.
Can someone please help.

its a cool phone , you could take the pictures with lid closed , press the middle button on the volume increse and descrease and in the menu goto camera

I brought the Motorola A1200 Yesterday..its a cute phone ...i really love all its features...can anyone help how to make the phone detect the memory card ..i just placed it in the memory slot but its not detecting...........plz reply to me asap.........

Gsmarena should review this phone!!!!!
Since all the reviews here of the motorolas puts them in a very "low" position, I'd like to know what are the bads things on this phone, since I think it's perfect!

I just got this phone..at first I got frustrated because the internet and the picture messaging didnt work. But the people I bought it through walked me through it to set up everything..now i'm sooo in love with my Ming pda..=) email me if u need help setting up the messaging or the internet people. i'll be happy to help..
