HEy for the guy who asked if it accepts handwriting like a palm. i had this phone for 5 months now and i can tell you for sure that it does accept handwriting or optional onscreen keypad

Hey guys, I just got this phone, love the features, and the text messaging is super easy. I tried using the handwriting recognition for a while, but when the novelty wore off, and I switched to the english keyboard, I found it was much better.
However, I'm having a problem receiving calls. (Not a good thing for a phone!) I don't think this is a widespread problem, probably I have a faulty one, but I was wondering, does anyone else seem to not receive calls that are coming in? I had my brother call me from 3 feet away on the same service provider, he got my voice mail and I got a txt message from my Fido letting me know I missed a call at x time. Has anyone else run into this problem before? My ring tone settings are all fine, cause calls come through sometimes. Can anyone tell me if the A1200 accept handwriting like the old Palm m505? I remind I am not talking handwriting recognizing that is completely different.

I've been using it for 5 months now - great phone. You can use a 1GB card, and it really isn't that slow. I do agree that bluetooth connection to pc and other kits are unstable. However whenit works you get great syncs with outlook. www.getjar.com has a load of great extra apps.

Is it possible to syncronize with Outlook? Does your handwriting really appears on the display the way you write or it tries to recognize your writing?

plz need help, just purchased one of this, here in Bolivia, why is the wallpaper picture so dark?? can i get it brighter?? really sucks, but everything else is so good, best phone i've ever owned, recently sold my samsung D-900 to buy this.

can the phone record voice telephone conversation, and how long can it do it. is it more than one minute. and what is the video resolution. please someone answer. I will be buying one soon. Thanks in advance.

it looks great of course..and ofcourse linux is better than windows specialy coz it will not catch virus like windows always do..
i'm a sony ericsson fan but this is the only moto that atract me ..and i'm happy with it

I own this this phone for almost a year. Far less than perfect...
1. OS is VERY slow.
2. User interface is a nightmare (Moto typical!) Try for instance to make a new contact from answered call log, hmm?
3. Bluetooth is unstable like a hell! Often loosing connection with my BMW built-in system (Nokia or RAZR never).
4. Side keys couldn't be reprogrammed or disabled so camera or voice recorder often get active when phone taking out of the belt holster.
5. PC syncronization software is a disaster - different phones for single user (mobile, office, home etc.) recording as a different contacts (Moto typical)
6. No accsending ring tone available!

this phone is amazing! i got mine a few days ago, and i am in love with it. its sleek and easy to use. the camera is good and the features are totally awesome. its a bit expensive but its worth the money. it looks fragile, but trust me its as rugged as any other phone out there. a great buy.....

Hey guys i just checked on the website & with some of the local vendors...
They say the memory can be expanded only by 512mb... cant go upto 1GB...
a bit disapointing
