The phone restarts when trying t... morei faced similar issue, i went to moto service and they re-installed my OS, but the problem persisted, later moto guys asked me for the SIM Card i was using and found that it was faulty and caused phone to restart, asked operator to change my card and with new sim its working fine, no issues of restarting at all

used this phone for 3 years, and it never hanged, also i never faced any lag while using it, loads of softwares available, i still have it allthough the keypad buttons have fallen off and the paint has gone but still a good phone

hy ...i bougth this cellphone about a month ago....and i was surprised to see that a mobile from 2004 can take 1 gb card...and i made an experiment.i inserted a 4 gb card into the cellphone and it worked well..nou i have a 2 gb card on it for about 2 weeks and it works perfectly...the only problem i've got is that i can't understant de linux on it.i could't find ani applications or games...i could install only some java games ...please help me...i'm not an linux user so i need help

Yes, the battery life is my only complaint about this phne, although it is also quite heavy for a small phone.

i have a780 for 2.5 years.
my biggest problem is that it turns off and reset when i`m calling or speaking automaticly and then it resets . and i lose my call.
please help me

I had this phone for just a few months. I'm really impress about this phone because of how the phone goes. On the other hand, this phone lacks battery strength in a way tha it always turns off by it self evrytime i use the browser... This phone could be pain in my butt sometimes! I wish i should just have bought A1200 or A1000... Sooner or later, this phone can be the greatest embarrasment!!! Goodluck to all the A780 users!!!

Several people asked if anyone have the network and MSS setting for T=mobile. No one replied. There are several great response for setting up cingular. If anyone out there can help me with setting up my MMS with Tmobile it would be greatly appreciated. I can send but I can't recieve. chris, 29 Mar 2008I just purchased this phone off ebay. I live in the usa and... moreU need to call your service provide and tell them that u need them to send you two update to your phone. 1 for the internet (t-zone) and the other for picture messaging. Here are the settings for t-mobile that you can manually enter. Go to http://www.importgsm.com/home.php. Then select GPRS WAP Internet Settings from the buttom right "Help" section. This will give you the internet and MSS settings. The only thing that I am still having problems with is recieving picture messages. I can do everything else.

does anyone face the some problem as me?
i can do nothing now, even set ringtone or move file, everytime i do that, come out msg of "memory is full", but both my phone memory n card memory is 50% empty. anyone can help me? thanks alot..
