hey! guys im from philippines i have motoming and its works great more than i expect. but how i wish it had a keypad :( anyway if you guys from philippines owned and thinking of disposing your A780 i would be glad to buy it!!!!!

I LOVED this phone until it just stopped working. Didn't get wet, wasn't dropped. Thought calibration was off but touch screen doesn't work at all now :{

i like this phone very much..
i used it for 1 year plus..
Just hope that Motorola will redevelope some more PDA phone like A780..
Hope there will be 3G function in A780, and please add 2 more buttons to the body so that we can play more types of games.Btw internal memory bigger is more important!

A query --- if this phone runs on linux, then can you connect it to pc for multimedia, file transfers etc
morever i like the form factor (i dont like flip or sliders) - use it like a regular bar phone : recv/make calls and SMSes AND use da large Touchscreen for multimedida. motorola plz continue this formfactor with latest specs - 2MP camera, EDGE, 3G

Hello everyone.It is a very useful smartphone I have ever seen.I am having it.I have experienced many phones like Nokia 6600,6681,7710,7610,9300,9500,etc & SonyErricson P800,P910i,etc. & believe me that the Motorola A780 is the best.It is very fast device and good RAM also.All the Linux applications I have installed are working flawlessly.As seen in Nokia and other phones there is no chance of getting virus also.This is the best mobile phone I have purchased.It can beat all the smartphones as it is bundled with features like Quadband technology,GPS,Linux OS,Huge processor speed & RAM,Brilliant touchscreen,Voice recognition function,Micro SD card slot,HTML browser,EDGE,etc,etc. I simply want to say it is one of the best smartphones that really ROCKS!

sexy is one word that i can describe abt this mobile,....
no problem untill now ,since ive brought this mobile....
and may i knw the settings for the GPRS for hutch in india......
i desperately need it...........

If anyone want to change build Linux into a WM, must be crazy. Realy. This phone can more than Redmond toy-software. If You preffer diffrent OS, You better change hardware.

hi, does anyone know if you can change the os of the a780 from linux to wm and how?
my a780 works great for me and had not any problems with its functions, battery last me for days, i just cant figure out how to load it with movie files and pics via my rig since it has a microsoft os and my mobile has linux. pics can be loaded but wont open in full view.
would appreciate any assistance. thanks!!!
