Hi, I am not able to open any of my email a/cs (Gmail, Yahoo) in the Opera Browser or even in the Email Client provided with the phone. Any pointers will be appreciated... do I need to configure the Opera Browser to start accessing Gmail/Yahoo?

hey ABHI,im frm delhi n its readily available here for 13600 n yes u cn write sms wid d keypad bt main concern was dat 2 hw many people cn i send a sms at 1 go wid d flip closed although it has an option send 2 many wen d flip is open as fa as i kno if u hv sum info bout dis pass it ovr soon n also tel me bout d mp3 sound quality n also if i cn store d sms in a memory card , thanx in advance

hey GAURAV, im too planning to buy this cell..i reside in mangalore(karnataka, india) and had went to a local cell dealer..he said me..they have no stock of this beauty..i was disappionted at that time...but after that he called his main dealer..and he said he has one piece..im was glad to here that..and it costs Rs.13,900/- here..im buying this within tuesday or so... i had the earlier model, i.e A760..which battery back-up and network reception was great..but only problem with that cell was i had no patiance to write the text messages with that pen...it would take so long time...so i sold it.. but now this cell comes with a key pad too..but i dont know whether i can use the key pads to type the text messages...and does it have T9 like the nokia..pls help me out guys...i need this beauty..pls anybody relply soon...who owns this beauty...thanks a lot...

Motorola A780 memory problem and error message:
I've had my phone for a year now, and overall am quite happy with it, except for one big problem. After about six months of use, I started to see these inexplicable "Memory Full" error messages when I tried to change settings. Often, their appearance seemed random. If I changed a setting on the ringer style, it would give that message. 20 minutes later, it might change the setting with no error message. However, over time, the message appeared more and more frequently and included "Flash Memory is Full" as an additional error message appearing. Finally after trying all possible options I did a Master Reset, the problem was gone, but six months later, came back again....
I tried: Killing background applications, and uninstalling additional apps. Clearning the SMS memory and emptying trash bin. Making sure there was sufficient space on both the flash card and the system memory (at least 20 MB on each free). However, the problem would start to recur.
Has any other owner seen this? Any other ideas to fix it? I've got a standard phone with 128 MB transflash.

Had the phone 2 days now - fantastic phone, best I ever owned. Can anyone tell me if it's possible to "voice dial" - can't find it anywhere and no line for voicetags in the contacts directory - Trevor.

u ll get a lot of softwares and other stuff from the motorolafans.com......register first and then go to community forum and select A780 and u ll get a lot of related stuff for a 780 from this website.......its a wonderful website

about the vibration. It only vibrates and then rings ,rite? so will it vibrate again if u set a mp3 ringtone. say a long tune?

great phone. david i have listed how to sync under www.macandmobile.com for mac users. its a roundabout and not treally a sync, but works for the time being...

The motorola parts used in this phone in india r of second quality. very bad. i suggest no one buy this phone.

a780. does the ph support a 512mb memory card. n if yes does it work well. i would appreciate if u respond. n how is the ph overall. i have a 6630 n am very happy with it. deciding whether i should switch to a780.

hey guys..
i'm plannin to buy a new phone n one of my choices is the A780. i am currently using a Moto V635. I want to know if the pic quality of the 780 is better than the V635 and also in the V635 whenever i record videos i can only record short ones ( abt 500Kb) regardless of how much memory space i have. does this happen in the 780 also or can u keep recording as long as u have memory?
