The only thing I hate about it (as a former beta-tester) is that it's only for CINGULAR WIRELESS networks...

I would want the Accompli for Voicestream but they don't have enough minutes with their plans. I was hoping that ATT would get it but they don't know when they are launching teir GSM network in NYC.

I want the Accompli 009 also, the phone is hot, but the only thing is it works only on Cingular's GSM and that is only available in Cali,Nevada,NC,SC, so far. So whoever wants one will have to wait because of its service deal. I think the service is dumb if it is only available for Cingular GSM which is located only in a few areas. But they should make one for voicestream since their GSM is located nationwide. But whoever is selling one, Holla at me

Polo and wong the Accompli cost $649.00 from Motorola I paid $549.00 with a year contract with Cingular for a Platinum silver one.But apparently it's sold out now but i've seen some on ebay for $1000 because they were the first engineering models and work on voicestream and cingular.

I live in the NYC area and we don't have Cingular around here yet. I emailed Cingular and the said that their GSM service isn't going to be availabe in the NYC area until 2003. If you don't know already, the Accompli 009 is only for Cingluar wireless. Motorola says they are in currently working on getting it certified for Voicestream, but they don't know when that will happen. Does anybody out there have the Accompli and if you do have service besides Cingular?

I have been trying for a month to find a human at Motorola to answer technical questions about the Accompli 009, and to take an order for 50. No calls or e-mails returned. Finally bought Nokia. Still need Accomplis for Californians.

And again a stupid phone of motorola. Where the hell is the speaker and the mic? IT'S SUPOSSED TO BE ON TE PHONE! but no, motorola is stupid enouhg to say: it comes with a headset. Those thing aren't very practical, and I can't call this a PHONE!
