I am thinking about getting this phone and wondering if i could have a text messaging signature? and if i can have picture messaging without internet? and is it worth having for 2 years?

I m using Moto Atrix from last 10 days. I want to upgrade it to 2.3 using the zip file from my PC as I do not have high speed data plan. Can somebody help me how can i upgrade it to 2.3 using zip file (i downloaded it from Motorola website, however it does not work like they instructed on the site) .. Please help ...

hello i think is time to speak somebody to Motorola company about the cell phones..its unacceptable to create devices without taking serious the helth efects of the radiation..only the Motorola company keeps the SAR rates at maximum...what is usefull to make a grat phone and to be dangerous to freid your brain...i like very much this Atrix ceel phone but with this data below i got to pass ...SAR is a measurement of RF energy the body takes. The FCC imposed a standard of 1.6 watts per kilo.

johti, 15 Dec 2011wow just upgraded to 2.3.4, wow very cool colours...althoug... moreroot your phone like i have its even better im on aura 1.2 and over clocked at 1.3ghz much better :P

I am from Pakistan i have Atrix for the last one month.Ihave experienced a lot of things with this phone as i have used a lot of highend phones.After a few days of purchasing a used atrix i just wanted to upgrade the phone from 2.2 to 2.3.4 but ended up in a brick in my hand with only an M on the screen on turning it on nobody in the market was able to make it alive after googling for some time i came to know that if you have its battery full then you can up grade it. I just bought a desk tpo charger to charge the battery as it did not charge in the hand set but the charger blew up again it purchased an other good charger and at last succeeded to fully charge the battery i connected with an ordinary cable to my pc in which i have downloaded 2.34 from motorola website after some time the transfer began and my atrix was alive again with 2.3.4 and it living till now it fast and furious with a marvelous battery time of a least two and a half day with moderate to heavy use i just fully discharged it a few times and fully charged again another thing that you must activate the add the unwanted applications in the auto end list of the task manager of the phone no need to download any task killer i never had made the display to the minimum it on the auto and display is beautiful in even bright sunlight it has never frozen so far i just love it because of its battery time its sound display and on call audio.Its simply the best.
For the owners who have made their phones a brick just like me if there is a boatload fail and error4 appears on screen they just follow my procedure above and hopefuly there atix will be alive in half an hour.

I have seen even Nokia N8 with it's slow cpu manage to do it with no problems at all with a display, mouse and keyboard. Hdmi is a good feature indeed and Atrix should do about 4 times as good as Nokia N8 which is handling it good with bad processor.

wow just upgraded to 2.3.4, wow very cool colours...although took ages to download... but got there in the end..have to see how it goes..form the uk..

Alot of people say bad things about the ATRIX but I've owned mine for 6 months now and I absolutely love this phone while the iphone 4 and 4s I owned for a little while but I quickly returned to my ATRIX. Well I wish it had 1080pa recording like they promised but it is still an amazing phone and I would highly suggest it

hi every1,just i have updated my atrix with gingerbread!its a automated air update in uk...mine 1 is from t-mobile...too many mice changes...moto blur got a new face not that slow now,the keyboard got faster like 'worlds most powerfull smartphone' should have,most of the icons got a new look and the whole moto theme got a skyblue feeling...if any1 got it must noticed!i am happy now with my atrix,very happy!

i got atrix just2day from tmobile uk with the hd doc...till now its awesome everything is wow expect moto blur seems to make it slow!
i will keep it beside my htc desire!

Steve, 27 Nov 2011I have to decide from the following list: Motorola Atrix ... moreHi Just to let you know i bought the atrix in march when it first came out and 13 replacements later ATT finally agreed to give me a different phone it seems the main problem that we have had is connecting to the brower and data none availaible even though att states nothing wrong it appeared to be a good phone but having had repeated issues we are now happy going with the new rocket galixy 2 we have many friends who have it and are very pleased ,please do research we never did just letting you know good luck with your choice ,thnaks Desiree from nyc
