I bought this product as an alternative to the iPhone, for more customizable features, such as ringtones, bluetooth sharing, and for the Google/Android OS. The fingerprint reader security feature was also a big draw. The display is really clear, and the screen itself is great because it is scratch proof, etc. (Gorilla). The internal memory is also pretty big and can be expanded with an external memory card.
The only thing that gets a little confusing are the tips and hints and how to get to some of them after you read it, when you first start using it. I thought I would be able to change the tone for text messages, but as of yet, I haven't found a way and don't know if it is a feature. Also, in order to change the main google account that you register with, you have to restart the phone to factory settings. Other than that, it is pretty much easy to use. I haven't yet downloaded too many apps, but when searching, they have much of the same ones as the iPhone, so that is a definite plus.
There is almost nothing I don't like about this phone. I am really happy with it thus far.

I chose the Atrix because It's better than similar phones in weak signal areas which is essential when running a business. My last phone was an HTC desire which in my opinion is a friendlier and more polished phone to use. I have customised the Atrix with apps to make it more like the HTC. I am very happy with it and have had no issues. Reccomended.

if you are going to do a comparison, use the current operating system in the atrix 2.3.4 it really updates the phone and places it in the same league as all the other phones and most likely allows it to excell in many cases. the update has been available, FREE, to all Atrix owners.
The QHD screen is even better, the camera is outrageous, battery life is extended, special features are soo much fun; etc. - jessica

You sound like a child, if you want a module handheld MADE for games, go get a nintendo 3ds. 2, it's an office phone. 3, anger and swearing isn't going to fix the phone or make things work faster. Of course, we see that you're frustrated. Why did you even buy the phone? Well, I don't doubt it, the phone certainly has issues. I just got the black screen of death this morning and I was so frustrated and I've spent a lot of time on this atrix already and I just got it in April. "MODEM DID NOT POWER UP, STARTING RSD PROTOCOL SUPPORT." At&t so far knows little about this, so it is getting replaced. Looks like the Atrix may be going for a recall. justjames079@gmail.com

Fast CPU, world fastest? Hmmm...
Poor battery life. Compare to my wife iPhone 4, my Atrix battery down at least 50% earlier than iPhone 4 :(
