IN these days you can buy(in Japan) phones with 14 MP CCD camera, 3x optical zoom and so on... This year the 14 MP barrier will be broken by SE for example. :D

awesome phone but still not as high as iphone 4 res 960x640. also 2.4megapixcel is enough for full 1080p. you do not need more then 5 on a CELL phone. buy a real camera to take pictures. use a CELL phone to make calls.

I have a question 4 you. The Targa and the Titan phones will be ONLY for Verizon, or they will sell it Globaly?? :)

* Smartphones aren't Professional camera.
* From 2MP or 3MP to 5MP good pictures.
* 5MP is able u to shot HD Video 720p even 1080p (Moto Atrix 4G)
* From 8MP to 16MP it's very good but not everyone will use the full capabilities of those Pixel.
* The highest pixel u get on a phone, expensive may be ur smartphone (Galaxy S2)
I believe the standard Pixel on a smartphone for now is between 8MP and 12MP. So Even the upcoming Moto Targa with 13MP have more than enough Mega Pixels but I also love the other quad core phone Moto Titan with 8MP and a 3D glass.

I am shocked to see that Motorola will be the first company to announce a Quad Core CPU phone, and with a 13 MP camera. In terms of camera they are weaker than SE or Nokia, but in terms of CPU or Ram, they are awesome! Great job Motorola.

Moto plus android are the future.
