      Within the past year or two Motorolla has built some undeniably powerful phones. Even though they weren't the first ones to build an Android phone, they've pretty much made the OS Mainstream (only second to HTC I would say). However, this thing the Atrix is a whole different animal, the most powerful under the sun, that has the potential to put some computers to shame. The only thing that would make this absoulte perfection would be if they could some say load the Chrome OS so that when you dock it to that laptop thing, you'd be working on that. I love this thing, It sucks that in the US it's going to AT&T who can't even handle the iPhones data needed, and this thing is going to be a million times harder on an already fragile network. I just hope it comes out unlocked, and compatiable with the US networks so I can get this thing and have it run on T-Mobiles HSPDA+ network. Motorolla hasn't just changed the game, they've started an whole new one.

        Dan, 14 Jan 2011Wow, it seems to be the perfect phone. I'll buy it. I was ... moreperfect phone? dude, there's no such thing as "perfect phone"

        this phone lacks:

        -> BT 3
        -> 8MP Camera and Xenon instead
        -> better Secondary camera like 2MP instead of VGA
        -> No FM transmitter!
        -> No USB host that accepts standard USB peripherals and its drivers
        -> they provide "Biometric fingerprint reader" with an UNSECURE OS like Android!!!
        -> it isn't made with better materials such as aluminum
        -> its price higher than current phones yet devs still didn't provide multithreaded apps to take advantage of the dual-cored CPU

        you can say it's good but far from perfect.

                  In general i think the spec is amazing..but now is 2011, i really think motorola should put at least 8mp camera to put more weight inside the phone spec to make it more competitive. Great phone none the less...but gonna give more time and see what other brand have to offer before decide which phone i gonna get. But of course for sure it will not be apple brand..haha...screw the iphone...such overrated.

                    Motorola Atrix coming to Bell soon, website is live

                    The Motorola Atrix was undoubtedly one of the biggest announcements at CES. We learned essentially everything about the device except where else other than AT&T it will be available and how much will it be.

                    It has shown up on Bell Canada's website and listed as coming soon, so Canadian consumers hoping for the Atrix can rest easy. It will be available in the coming months, laptop dock and all. The price is still unknown, but we'll keep you apprised if we hear anything else

                      Motorola Atrix 4G may hit AT&T on March 1

                      Moto Atrix 4G possibly dated for ATT in leak
                      An internal slip may have confirmed a likely date for the Motorola Atrix 4G's in-store date with AT&T. The inventory check shows the dual-core Android phone as arriving on Tuesday, March 1. Its ship date is tentative as AndroidCentral notes that phones usually go on sale at AT&T on Sundays, but it has made exceptions for high-profile devices.

                      Pricing is still a mystery, although the Atrix 4G as a high end phone is likely to cost $200 on a two-year smartphone contract.

                      The Atrix 4G earns its name through its fast HSPA+ 3G support, but it's best known for the dual-core Tegra 2 processor at its heart. Its performance is enough to pipe 1080p video but centers most around Webtop. The new concept gives it a desktop-like interface and USB support either when in a cradle or a special, 11.6-inch notebook dock that replicates a full portable. A 4.1-inch, 960x540 display, front and back cameras, 16GB of internal storage and dual-band 802.11n Wi-Fi with hotspot support also make it Motorola's flagship

                          Get your Motorola ATRIX fix with this short video ad marathon

                          The Motorola ATRIX was among the most interesting announcements at this year’s CES. Not only because it’s among the few Android smartphones powered by the powerful Tegra 2 platform, but also because it comes with a bunch of docking accessories, which can turn the device from a TV video player with its own remote to a slim netbook (or smartbook, if you like) with a proper screen and a hardware keyboard.

                          I’ve got you a whole playlist of short video ads of the Atrix. The playlist includes 10 clips and it’s total running time is 3 minutes. The clips are really short. And yes, most of them don’t have audio – just the first and the last one.

                          The Motorola ATRIX packs some industry-leading features such as 1GB of RAM and the qHD screen (540 x 960 pixels). There’s also the on-board fingerprint reader, the Gorilla Glass display, the 16GB of storage, the FullHD 1080p video playback, and the HDMI port. The Atrix also has a 5 megapixel camera with 720p video recording, but the smartphone is currently stuck at Android 2.2 Froyo (as opposed to getting the most recent 2.3 Gingerbread version).
                          In March the Motorola ATRIX will be available in Europe (Orange UK will be the first carrier to get it) and in the US (known there as ATRIX 4G, exclusive to AT&T). So far no pricing information has been revealed.

                                      Does the atrix support hdmi mirror mode like lg optimus 2x? From CES videos it seems not be able to mirroring image to a tv simply using a mini-hdmi cable! It's strange because it has a mini-hdmi port, but the question is: can be connected using a mini-hdmi cable directly to a tv, or is it necessary to use the multimedia dock? In the second case, it will be impossible to play games, because if the atrix is stuck in the dock, you can't play any game. Instead the lg optimus 2x allows to use just a simple and cheap cable to connect it to tv. If it's possible connecting atrix only through the dock I choose LG Optimus 2x.
