My new atrix, drops during the calls very often. No problem in the networ, as I was using nokia before and never had this problem, but Atrix does this. Any advise from the ATrix experts???

Bought recently Atrix.
Atrix experts, pls advise:
1. The performance of batter is not as others mentioned in this opinion posts. My batter sucks. With the normal use, it lasts 5-6 hrs, with few calls, reduced display resolution...etc.
2. Can I install Tamil fonts to read Tamil news papers?

1) is ... moreSimply dial *#*#4636#*#* in the following menu go to Phone Information, scroll down to set Preferred network type: There were all of the options you needed.
Also you can find these options in setting menu.
I recommend using notrino ROM, In actual fact you should root your phone, check out Xda-Developers site there are many Custom battery friendly ROMs
Also there are some third-pary apps wich can switch atrix Radio to 2G, 3G or ... from widgets on home screen.

motostar, 18 May 2012can someone help me out with these question below : 1) is ... moreas an answer to your second question, yes, there is an option in atrix switching from 3g to 2g. it is preferable to switch to 2g to save battery if you're using wifi connection always.

Anonymous, 06 Apr 2012How about atrix vx HTC Sensation? which one is better?I have atriz my girlfriend has a sensation. Htc is slow and half apps dont work on it. Yeah its gor ica but im glad i have the atrix its much better trust me.

Yesterday bought the phone and upgraded to 2.3.4 ....Must say its damn fast ... Too fast.... But the front camera quality is not so Good...... I mean very bad can't see anything... Otherwise its an Awesome device

can someone help me out with these question below :
1) is it me or it is the phone problem?when I use for surfing about 15 mnts or more the phone getting hot easily..sometimes it below 15 mnts..i've been using this phone for almost a month and I really enjoy it so much..moto is the best! but this problem really annoyed me..damn..
2)before this, I just use this phone only via wifi when logging to internet..and it can hold until 1 1/2 days (normal usage) and it takes 1 day (heavy usage)..just 3 days back I subscribe the data packet n enable the data delivery,the differences is huge dude..it drains more faster than before (i disable the data delivery before)..so,my question is, could someone tell me how to switch the signal eg,like bb n iphone,there is an option for user whether they want their device in the 3g and above or 3g and below (edge)..this can help a lot in boost up the battery life although the connection in edge is a bit slow..i couldnt find any of that option in my device (this is my 1st moto n android experience)..or could someone suggest to me what is the best n longest battery booster app in the android market?
