My atrix 4G (2.3.4) of AT&T is already rooted. can i upgrade it to 2.3.6 ???
In case I am able to upgrade it would it be un root again???

chanyy, 17 Feb 2012How to upgrade to 2.3.6?press setting... then go to -about phone- and then press system update...i recommend you to do it on wifi..
or go to motorola and find the update motorola software..

Unlocked it, and now it runs on any GSM Network.

Just recieved an OTA update on my Atrix 4G.
I now have Gingerbread version 2.3.6
Although i'm not quite sure what has changed.
Probably some security fixes (according to release notes).

I've had this phone for almost 3 months now, I bought it off Amazon without that AT&T contract crap and it cost me about $370. I have been enjoying this phone a lot, having dumped an iPhone. I have to acknowledge that the iPhone is a good phone but it's prioritization drives me insane.If you're looking for a fast Android phone with HD video and HDMI output [For the people who know the value of these features] Motorola Atrix 4G is the best bet for it's price in the market right now!!
