A Testing menu will appear and select Phone Information
In that option Set preferred network type to WCDMA ONLY.

I want to force connect my edge connection when I want to. Is it possible? When I try to connect, it usually denies to connect even if it is in the coverage area.

Hi Guys...
Is there any update whether it will have a HD video recording at 1080 P .... coz even after the latest android release of 2.3.4 it records at 720 p .... can we have an upgrade to 1080 p ,... motorola gota answer wen n how???????????? Dis is disappointing specially after promising a future upgrade to 1080 p video recording ....

Atrix is way better than Galaxy S2 because Atrix is really compact. It has 4 inches of screen, still, it is almost the same size with Iphone. But Galaxy S2 is looking so big and gross. It is like it is made of poor quality/plastic cover and so. Besides, the battery of S2 sucks. You cannot go over 24 hours with moderate use. Atrix's battery is really satistactory. My battery is now at %50, it has been 48 hours now, with using 2,5 hour music player, 1,5 hours screen on, 30-40 minutes wifi.

BUC, 23 Aug 2011I would agree if you are in Froyo 2.2. Which was more notic... morewhere do you get so many modes you are saying about. I am having 2.3.4 Gingerbread... I dont see these options

Purchased it from ebay last week .... so far its an overwhlmin experience.... fast .... multitaskin is just awsm ...
Having sed dat the camera is a big disappointment ... it says 1080 p recording will b possible via furure update ... but as per the latest 4.5.91 v ( with g2.3.4 android update) it can only support a video playback at 1080 p ,... and not record it... however a tegra proccessor is capable of record video at 1080 p... can anyone tell me if dis is coming up in the near future???? or is it a false promise Motorola...
well apart from dis it truely an amazing phn ... a must possess!!!!

Got one few days back .... using it in India ... working absolutely alright .... very fast and mutitasking is awesome .... however camera is very disapointing .... can anyone tell me if Video recording at 1080 P will ever be possible throygh futute update .... it promises an future upgrade will b possible ... but as of now after the release of 2.3.4 video playback is supported at 1080 p ....please confirm anyone ... apart from dat this phone is a must possess!!!!!

Clearly best smartphone in market. It is so fast, stable and powerful. 1 GB RAM and dual core processor show that. Also, the most powerful battery of any smartphone. However, sadly it is underrated by people.

It is a great smartphone. I have gingerbread on the device and it works very rapid. However I am kind of disappointed with programs rnuning background and consuming battery. Is there a solution for such programs as well as blcoking automatic updates with a software?

Right a second hand store here in UK has 4 moto atrix 4g for sale but i want to check first with this question..
Is the only difference between moto atrix and moto atrix 4g the extra hsdpa band???
If its true then i can buy the 4g version and use it in UK.Even gsmarena has only reviewed the 4g version,its as if the non 4g version does not exist.
Thanks anyway for help but it is a very expensive unit but that battery gives me confidence.

So convince people to use Talk instead of Skype :P

Now on Gingerbread actualization the camera works great, and it has many new pic modes such as Panoramic and multi burst included... (also more scenes)....
