Kkkiller, 28 May 2008it is not possible to transfer pictures from the C261 to a ... morethanks for the info--why do Motorola give data cable and CD along with the phone when you cant transfer any pics from phone to computer? i bet everybody bought this C261 on this assumption!!there must be a software code to do it---

noob, 28 May 2008You can transfer pictures only by MMS to another phone. Tha... morethats not true. you can use the ^octopus data cable^. its hard to find, but its worth the effort.

Hi people i got motorola c261 and i love moto phones but this my one has very dark camera i can take only photo day time at indoor in house even when i swich light is dark i set up picture menu but it same can receive mms and has internet but no enough memory but looks nice i had couple of different motorolas z6 v3 v3x and other models this is just basic phone and it simple 4 everyday use i have a sony eric. K 500 i it also great mobile and has more staff i had many phones and all was ok same motorola c261

You can transfer pictures only by MMS to another phone. That's it.

it is not possible to transfer pictures from the C261 to a computer as our official software (Motorola Phone Tools) does not support this particular model. The C261 camera is basically for pictures that can be sent in messages (MMS) or used as your wallpaper.

i just ordered one in the mail a couple of days ago... it was a great deal, i refurbished C261 and 120 tracfone minutes for $30 + shipping. i have just one question... does it cost units to take pictures?

Yes C261 Mobile battery dies after few hours,I have replace with orignal one but problem still there,Bye bye MOTO

I just destroyed the screen on this phone. All my phonebook entries are stored on there, and I need to get them to my sim. Could anyone tell me the sequence of buttons that must be pressed to copy my numbers from my phone to my sim?
