after i hidden the date and the operator logo ....somthing happened : in my message menu i don't have outbox ...and the phone does not store msg. in the card..only in the phone...and in the multimedia menu i have the options of copy and move ..on photos and ringtones..and if i select them the phone restarts..pls help !! ....

if you upload a 3gp or mp4 the image size must have 128x96, 128x128. that's the rzolution for movies for this phone. good luck

sorry bother u again. i try to upload MP4 and 3gp Video File to my phone but cannot play.it always show that image file too large and can't play.even though the file size only 16kb,50kb,and 115kb no matter what kind of size also cannot. but i try the sample MP4 File from MPT3.1 it works.

no luck dude.i still cant get the goddamn date to disappear! or probably i dont get u properly. what do u mean real seem 01a8_001?
does this mean that in the "from" box i type 01a8 and in the "to" box i type 001? then click on read...then upload the edited 01a8_001 seem, write then restart? if possible can u send me a pictorial guide? i am using P2ktools 2 by bezol.
and i think from one of the link posted by someone - a guide of hex editing, it mentioned that we can adjust the volume of our ringtones/videos to even louder! but i havent give it a try yet.
to small fish:
no, u cant activate functions like voice recorder or countdown timer.too bad. oh,im from kuantan, pahang :)

make sure before you upload the downloaded seem 01a8_0001,READ 01a8_0001 FROM THE SEEM EDITOR FIRST(with p2ktools),then just you upload the downloaded seem,write to phone n restart.REMEMBER ALWAYS TO MAKE A BACKUP BEFORE YOU MAKE CHANGES.
i only gave a first shot to disable the date
and no problems at all.and yes they had disabled the date and carrier name.

Please people i have deleted one fail again.
It`s called gain_table.bin .My phone is c385
please send me the fail because now my phone doesn not play any sound at all.

Motorola C385
Great phone will all the features that you would need at the right time. I specially like the speaker , loud and clear. Reception and clarity is also very good.
Keypad locking seems to be a bit of problem for me, I find the positioning of the * button to be bit akward.
Good themes and Good set of ringtones. Mp3 ringtones added advantage. All in all a good deal
pros
Good battery life
excellent reception and clarity
good navigation and well placed menu options suits user needs very well
cons:
locking mechanism
echo effect when using the speaker sometimes
no analog or digital screensaver.
display switches off after some time and you get the impression that the phone has been switched off

i forgot !! :)
when you load the original seem 0032_0001 all what you activate like: videos, rhitmic lights,rings lights and ...,wiil dissapear and you have to put them back.!! fu..ing problem is that date.!!
!!!!?????!!!!
but if you dezactivate the date will not show on you screen when the battery is charging and is another fuc.ing problem.

hey ZC i have same problem and i rezolved; i didn't have the mesaje menu when i upload the seem 01a8_0001 and the didn't dissapear.
!!! upload an original seem 0032_0001 and your mesage option will be repair and then you can upload the seem 01a8 to make the date dissapera because to me is working.

i learned a lot of thing from here...of cause i tried and successful to upload java games, video function and others
but still got some questions to ask u guy....can use the some functions like voice recorder,countdown timer,etc on my c380 phone by p2ktools ??
have anyguy try these before??? if can, teach me how to set it...appreciate that....

oh people,
i got my Outbox, Draft and quick NOtes already by using p2ktools2. i did it like how i enabled the video features. thanks anyway :)
so beside locust, did anyone managed to remove the date?

i dont know why urs werent working.try this steps.
1)read from seem 01a8_0001 first,then load from the downloaded 01a8_0001,write to phone,reboot.
or
2)also do the step of removing operator logo.(mail me if u dont know this step)
or
3)load back the original seem 0032_0001(this will go back to original setting n settings like rhythmic light will gone),then do the step 1.

Tools that I've used.
1. To set options on/off i use the p2k tools and refer to http://xlr8.us/hofo/map.txt file.
2. To upload wallpaper/ringtones/screensaver use MPT v3.11.
3. To upload Java games use Mid way 2.8
I've just loaded vidoes to the phone by p2k Advance Editor ans it works.
Managed to set the rythmn lights on but max. 10 min only. anyone here managed to set to on forever?
I'm gonna to remove the provider name & date.

what i did was open up the p2ktools->seem editor->load from file->write to phone and last step click restart.the date will show for about 1-2 seconds when the phone is starting up then disappear.

i uploaded the seem file with p2ktools, restarted the phone ....but the date il still there.....i uploaded the seum using "seem load" and the "write seem" ..is it correct? ...help me

This phone is very nice compare to siemens c62. I got this phone last month and I love the features.
