hey guys.. we all know that motorola charm is a perfect phone as its has android power but the only thing which make us annoy its battery backup but after using it for almost 4 days now I would really like to share my idea with you that how you can save a lot of battery….so here we go
• Keep your display brightness up to 10%. Yes this is one of the factor which drains your battery fast so keep it on 10, another fact is … you get good quality icon display as its has qvga screen so once you increase brightness on phone the display looks more ugly, the icon looks more distorted.
• Keep your battery on smart mode under settings, it gives you a freedom to control your packet data so you can set the time slot for the packet data.
• Set your phone on sleep mode, time limit should be 30 mins.
• Download the application called task killer from android market. Its free and helps you to kill running applications by one touch
•
That’s it … after doing all process I was able use my phone for more than 10 hours… including 1 hour call , 30 mins net surf, 15 mins android mkt. , 20 mins msg… I hope you like it thanks

Hi guys... I bought this phone two days ago and now I must say its complete phone under your budget. However I would like to give my review..so here we go..
Good :-
Browser- if you are interntet freak. Like surfing on net then I must say motorola charm is what you are looking for... the qwerty keypad gives you a complete satisfaction while typing..so you can type quickly.
Built:-holding this phone in hand is a great experience as its different from android from available in mkt. ..solid design will never let you down in terms of look.
Backtrack:- its one of the best feature for those who surf the internet or mails. Saves time. .can check yourmails by one hand.
fast processor:- processing speed is really fast...you can do multitasking. .quite smooth touch screen.
Bad:-
Bettery life :- Bettery life is not that good as it should be. . Anyhow I was able to manage 4 hours including of 60 mins surfing, chating, 70 mins calling.
android 2.1 :- android 2.1 is another hitch but does not matter when its come to performance. However you can't play flash 10.1 videos.
Camera:- camera quality is not good at all.
screen resolution :- screen resolution is not that good as it has qvga display but we can't deny the fact that its a budget phone so its better that any other qvga screens phone available in market.
Conclusion :- overall its a good budget phone for mailing, browsing internet,chating... good for age group 15-35. I would give 7 out of 10 and 10 out of 10 for it's keypad as I typed the whole review through my motorola charm..

This is my second charm. First one was finally replaced. Very poor service from motorola. Horrible screen, freezes constantly, suefing the web and scrolling stutters, drops calls constantly as well. What else? Ovvh. Overheats badly. Ugly as sin but that's the best of its problems. As well, it has horribly sound quality. I mean HORRIBLE. Second phone, already freezing, bad sound quality, overheating etc etc. Don't get this piece. Im never buying motorola again. Oh. And my bud has same phone. Same issues, different provider.

this phone is amazing phone. display is very good (as i read bad about it) touch is very good. this is very unique phone its has qwerty touch n track pad. best buy is Rs.11745/-. guys do buy this phone if u like qwerty. one of the best qwerty in market n very good price

Handy phone but battery life could have been better. I think it’s the same case for the entire Android phones. Even with a task killer App installed.

i brought this phone sm 2 months bak... n now i regret my choice... this is da most pathetic phone i have eer used.... screen quality is bad... it now looks weird.... da touch is bad... it dsnt stand any chance in da current breed of android phones... this is my n motorolas biggest mistake

charm is upgradable phone when company having version 2.2 that time you upgrade your phone.
If u have any doubt about moto charm so pls tell me.

Its fit for business usage only only... not for anything else.. im using it... txting, mailing, browsing evrything is awesome. but multimedia, games, video, camera everthing is just for name sake.. also it freezes up for more number of app at a time... battery hardly lasts for 4hours
