to delete a widget, hold it for about 3-4 seconds then on the right hand bottom a bin appears. Drag the unwanted widget to the bin & when the bin turns red just drop it, ur widget will be deleted.

Bought the phone a week back & have discovered it fully, so here are my reviews:
1) Display is osm, plays videos smoothly, 2.8" is big enough to have a great viewing experience(its atleast larger than 2.34" screen in nokia E-Series)
2) Am a chat savy so cudnt think of buying a touch only phone, the QWERTY keypad of this phone is really soft and makes typing fun, the phone includes a virtual keyboard though.
3) The Capacitive Touch is awesome, really luv to run my hands over it.
4) The Backtrack thin is really cool, i enjoy falunting it amongst my friends :D
5) Browsing experience is really great, backtrack & pinch zooming enhance the fun even more.
6) The processor is really fast and 512 MBs of ROM & RAM is the best of what you can have. I even tried to intentionally hang the phone by running several apps at once but i failed.
7) the only drawback is the battery life, but the resolve is to upgrade to a 1420mAh battery thats easily available.
Trust me guys the phone is awesome & is actually a value for money. This phone is a beast and u really feel powerful once u hold it.
If its within ur budget, dont give it a second thought, just go for it.

Unusual characters used in Motorola's Charm is a true innovation technology development. But there are some people who think it is something that is less efficient. One example is to embed the physical and the virtual keypad in one package.
About the price offered by Motorola to make us have to reach the pockets deep enough to buy this phone. And it seems to be accompanied by a wise consideration, because in addition to mobile phones less familiar character, the embedded Android platform is still version 2.1 aka Eclair.

i've heard that charm is available with 2 batteries in the uk. i stay in india. what if i buy charm and along with it a 1420mah battery separately? would it work just fine???

Great phone lots of features easy to use. I have absolutley NO regrets getting the phone. good picture, video's, sound is good, light weight, etc...
Only drawbacks i can find are:
1. Batery life is short when you use it a lot. Keep chargers close by when you get this phone, convenient part abourt charger is cord disconnects from charger and connect to computer and can charge thru USB.
2. Charger conection is a bit flimsy but as long as you set phone down to charge you will have no problems (wife already replacing her phone as she uses it while charging and charger connection on phone is now loose and cannot charge(so just leave phone down when charging only takes about an hour to charge)

An excellent phone..the design, performance, looks are amazing..the only drawback is the battery life..it lasts for a full one day provided if u don't fiddle too much with it..otherwise great signal reception, excellent sound quality wit active noise cancellation..and great sets of feature with android 2.1 update 1

i m a bit confused between quench and charm. is typing faster in touchscreen or qwerty keypad? i use messaging a lot. plus i really liked the backtrack option in charm which is equivalent to the trackball of quench.
but the problem is charm loses out on battery life and camera.
what is the actual battery life of both the phones? i m asking about first hand experiences. not what the company tells.

just got it n finally sold it.
Too many wrong things 4 me
why there is a virtual keyboard on d screen,meanwhile it already had a qwerty keyboard
the worst part of it is the battery life only 1,5 days with general usage. Android phones consumed more battery than other os but samsung,se n lg doing great with this.
A little disappointing but its a lesson 4 me. Not only the look n the feel but the inside is the most important.

2.1 or 2.2 is doesn't matter u can update
galaxy 3 and charm both android bit diff is galaxy qwerty keyboard........
