Anonymous, 10 Jul 2010The rest of the world is going for minimum of 1 ghz cpu, ... moreWhen I said "rest of the world" I meant the high tech, you know, the section you and I are in now, the high tech world! So although other retarded phones are below standards, I wasn't referring to those. I guess you want to belong to the retarded tech?!

Awesome phone ! I hope, keyboard will be as good, as in Nokia E72. If so, I will buy it for sure.

This is hard time for Blackberry fanboys :D

I have no idea what you are talking about. I wasn't comparing the old BB to the new MOTO. All I was saying is that it is 2010 and for the latest MOTO to come out with low specs is just inexcusable. You simply can't put out a phone in the middle-end of 2010 with 3mp camera, 2.8" inch screen (I understand it has a full key board but still too much space wasted on logos and unwanted siding), 600 mhz cpu no front camera, and expect to be different and competitive. The rest of the world is going for minimum of 1 ghz cpu, minimum of 3.5" screens and a larger battery life.

On the new BB could make even video call or have radio build in. Also notice the battery life with 1400 mAh only 5 h talk but Charm have 1170 mAh but 6h45 min talk. http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=3287&idPhone2=3420 You must know phone aren't all the time high end product. If you wan't that kind of phone go for Droid X are you are just a hater.

to add to my specs from bottom comments, a flash, 5 mp camera as well. This is a thick enough and wide enough phone to be able to carry a heavier, longer life batter with all the extra storage capacity. A front camera for video chat won't hurt either.

I had an old 8900 BB 3 years ago and always dreamed of having a phone that had the full touch screen with the physical key board. Well this is close except the specs are very very disappointing. 3 MP camera!!! 6ooMHZ cpu!!! 512 mb rom. WHAT THE HELL was moto thinking. Or should I say they weren't thinking. Give me this phone with 1 ghz cpu, minimum of 3.5" screen, 2 gb rom, 1 gb ram, 1800 mhz battery and I'm sold. Otherwise don't waste my time.

At least Moto aren't afraid of going a bit outside of the norm with their handset designs. As much as the Desires, the Galaxies and the iPhones are doing, their designs are becoming rather linear and bland.

That said, I don't see why this couldn't have had a 5MP camera, it seems to be becoming the standard for these kinds of handsets.

Why nobody mentioned about the track pad in the back of the phone? I'm using Motorola Backflip and I really like the track pad, which eases navigation while using the qwerty.

For me, this phone could be a good replacement of my old Q9, which I sold 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately, I won't be in US til next week, and I already got the Backflip....

And overall, I like "Flipout" better than this, as Flipout is easier in the pocket.
