Thanks a lot guys for the price update. I personally feel, its kinda costly for the features. Still its a slim n sleek phone. Am surely gonna get it once released. You can always trust motorola in the performance part. :)

Motorola CUPE.. Also Motorola V14w. A lot of my friends love this phone an want to buy it. I know many people who still love the flip Razor type phone. Not everyone needs or wants a touch screen bar phone.

I've never been a Motorola fan but it seems they're moving in a really good direction. I'd personally want this phone. Pretty badly too :D
I hope it get's released in Egypt, I'm not into smartphones (I got my netbook for the smart stuff) and what I really need is a simple yet epically awesome phone like this.

I agree with the majority of the comments here. It's been a long time. In business it's about direction. Most of other makes now are riding the "bandwagon" on smartphone type design. Majority are bar designs or slides, less flip designs too and are trying to impress with bigger screen just like my other phone, the HTC HD2 but of course, it's a good phone but the battery won't last. When I first saw this picture in thumbnail size, just like what's shown here, the first thing that came to my mind was the RAZR2 series - V8 and V9. It has a liitle combination of the previous Startac too. I've a V9 Ferrari currently and would say it is still one of my favorite with the Crystaltalk and design. With its specs and 3.15MP camera, I should say Moto's selecting it to target low to mid range market so it's not fair to compare this with something that's at higher range. Base on this design, and if it comes with Crystaltalk plus feature, I'm not surprised if this could be another reasonably good demand phone. I use the V9 Ferrari for its usability as a phone, it performs extremely well in terms of incoming voice quality and background noise reduction so much so, that it outperformed my more pricey HTC HD2 in that departments.
So Motorola, if any of you designer guys are reading here, you have the right design, just improve on the battery design will do. These days, people are talking more and longer than those days.

Very good looking indeed !! reminded me of the RAZR... The specs look promising too..looks like it has a swivel screen..and though i have had some back experiences with swivels in the past i think this one is compact enough and seductive enough to get me back to MOTOland...havenot used a MOTO since a long time but this one is truly desirable.. may it be another Razr for them.
