This phone was already released in the Philippines at 8.9 Thousand Pesos (Php). Suprisingly, this was a dual sim card android phone. :)

What about rooting? Is there any chance that this phone will be able to root? Especially because its low internal memory, 800MHz processor which is factory limited to 600MHz (WHY WHY WHY?). I searched on XDA forums, but no luck, there is still no secure rooting procedure. Does anybody knpw is there currently any way to root this phone?

Ive had the defy mini xt320 for 2 months now and the screen is already cracked it cracked the second time it fell so to me the phone isnt as resistant as it promised i bought it because i knew i couldnt have a delicate phone because i knew i was going to drop it. Even a iphone screen is more resisting as the defy minis "gorilla glass" but apart from that i did realy like the phone i was even able to take pictures of me and my freinds under water the phone does lack in processor but it gets the job done and it runs apps its not expected to using the browser can be a bit annoying because it allways stops running. The screen has a very bright color and i love the notification light they added gaming on the defy mini is good not great since it lacks in processor but atleast they run pretty well the front faceing camera is realy for nothin because its not skype certified and when i used skype the video call was lagging alot i noticed that the phones speaker dosnt sound too good after taking the phone underwater but its nothing to worry about. WARNING the defy mini dan go underwater a few meaters trust me ive tested it but dont push its limits dont take it realy deep or take it scupa diving or anything like that because simply the phone will break not that ive seen it happen but i know the phone is no designd for so much presure. The 3mp camera i did not like. The led flash is realy bad and dosnt work to good so i like the phone at first but as soon as the screen cracked ive even had thoughts of buying a blackberry even thoe im a android user because somtimes i cant stand this phone

I got one, and it support skype videocalls. Despite having 600mHz processor its very smooth. I recomend this phone.

from the technical specifications, i saw 600MHz processor, 512MB RAM. My doubt is
1) will this mobile hang?(get stuck, not responding)
2) will 600MHz be sufficient for average performance? and most applications(should not hang, take too much time to load.)
3)How good is the camera? Quality of pictures taken, quality of video recording? ( resolution and frame rate.)

You just download Skype from AndroidMarket and it support both voice and video. So it works on my XT320. I like it!

My first 'smartphone'. Wish I hadn't bothered as the battery won't even see out a working day. The official figures are a joke. I have all radios turned off bar 3g, and haven't used apps more than about 5 mins.
