Just to let you know guyz, the offical ICS update for the razr maxx is coming around the end of this month. I hope they are just fixing the bugs that they experienced in the US. Anyway i love the device. I am amazed by the build quality except the lock button, that is a bit shaky. The screen is amazing. As i had an htc one x before i can assure you, that the biger screen and the higher resolution dose not give more after the first couple of days than the motorola's one does.
Good device, highly recommended. If only it was cheaper...

This phone is simply awesome, the speaker sounds really loud and clear, the camera quality is not the best as a Sony camera can be but is just great and the battery don't get hot with heavy usage, as I understand is actually the chipset but as I know this happen to all the smartphones with dual core chipsets or even quad core when you demand them to really work, you can read a little bet about heat on chipsets and understand it better

Well, Having a battery like this is great. But, there are a few things i would like to know.
1- Music player experience?
2- Camera Clarity?
3- Battery gets hot while browsing or not?
Come on guys, why do we need a battery that lasts longer? Coz we need to utilize all the resources that the phone offers us. If the phone can't deliver that much of entertainment(Music preferably) , then what would be the need for such a heavy battery? I mean, we can use the regular phones for making calls and stuff. In such a case , we wouldn't be requiring a smart phone.!!!

I bought this phone within few days of its release and absolutely loved it. However, ever since I updated to ICS its having so many issues. It seems the razr maxx screen has major screen issues. The LCD screen looks very fragile and keeps cracking. There is a huge thread on this in motorola and verizon forums. Is this true and would you recommend buying this phone in India?

Hi People
I have this phone for 1 month, it's a tremendous phone really awesome, but not everything is perfect, it has a hardware fail in the speaker which is only connected to the motherboard by pressure so at some moment usually in the first month it will stop sounds, but don't worry only need to press gently just below the speaker and the sound return but later will stop again, if you go with your dealer they will give you a new one but the fail will appear again, anyway I love this phone and I will handle this issue at my way

This isn't working in gsm worldwide and if you want gsm version you can buy the razr maxx which same mobile same battery but gsm version and yes its available in India. You can order through snapdeal

Im from india, one thing i wanna mention is dat the battery lasts for one full day and not more with a good usage which i expected it to last even more since it is 3300mah.

It says it is compatibl... moreAccording to the Verizon website, the Maxx, with a software update, will be GSM quad band for 2G and dual band for 3G, along with CDMA 3G and 4GLTE. The phone must have already included the GSM radios without them being active. Verizon has already included Ice Cream Sandwich on the phone. Doesn't get much better than that until I5 comes out.
