I love this phone! It's my first smart phone. I own an Ipad, an Ipod, and an Apple laptop and the last thing I wanted was the Apple Iphone. It does everything I want it to and then some. I'm new to Swype and I can't live without it now.The voice to text is really nice too. The back of the phone is carbon fiber and gorilla glass on front. I don't feel a real need for an expensive cover for it as the phone seems much more durable than the phones I've had in the past five years. It is slick to the touch and feels prone to slipping out of my hand - I bought a $5.00 silicone/ plastic cover that works great. My only wish is that I got more battery life during the day - I don't understand how my Ipad can last 12 hours and yet my phone can't?? It is supposed to have more battery life than other smart phones; I can't offer a good comparison of battery life since it's my first smart phone. The camera is very good; was surprised at all the features the camera offered. I'd buy this phone again - my first cellphone was a Motorola Startac. Motorola makes the best quality phones in my opinion.

I find a paperclip works just fine to open the SD/SIM card compartment.

Best phone. Evar.
It's hard to say how much you get from NEVER having to worry about battery life on the road or anywhere else, but it's totally freeing!
I flew from San Francisco to Washington DC and watched movies the whole way, and GPS at the end. After a 12 hour day of heavy use I went to sleep with over 50% battery!
It's plenty fast, playing GTA3 smoothly. Big screen, thin profile, decent camera, great reception, great sound, battery peace of mind I haven't had since my last chocolate bar phone... what's not to love?
