Design is pretty good. The most important question is about battery stand-by time. Android needs a lot of energy. This is a most popular problem for all Android phones. Many people use phones in way, what they have no possibility to charge it frequently. This is weakest point of Android phones, for all that all of best characteristic.

Hopefully GSMArena changes the pic of this one.
Ok, more info about the Droid 2 (keyboard, not the pic and place of right now), it will be out before Halloween (October 31st) :). Also, people, please don't confuse GSM with 3G. All of the phones (up to now) support all GSM bands to be able to make phone calls ONLY.
GSM work on: TMO, AT&T, Verizon, Spring, etc.
You should instead be thinking if this phone will have HSPA, which works on: AT&T, and TMO. Then you should be asking yourself which bands/frequencies of HSPA the phone has.
Further more, both the Shadow and Droid 2 will be on Verizon, and maybe an unlocked version (just like the Milestone which works on AT&T 3G/HSPA, and the Droid works on Verizon's 3G/EV-DO) will get released, who knows.

I hope this will be on Verizon, but it says that it is for a GSM network so I suspect it will be with AT&T, who is terrible...

                    WOW amazing, interesting and bold.
Every now and then Motorola stand up and makes itself known.
They have brought out some fashanable phones and some amazing phones and i dare say this one has placed themself right back in the top 5 runners. ITs a strong phone it stands out and i can only say its UI will be good if so much time has been spent on intemedating but yes suttle looks. Keep up the good work cause this is commendable.

                                  So, to clear things up:
Droid 2 (the pic currently up right now) != Shadow.
Droid 2 = QWERTY keyboard (pic up right now)
                                  Shadow = now keyboard
Both will have a 4.3" screen
                                  Shadow:
                                  - 4.3" FWVGA (854 x 480) screen
                                  - TI OMAP 3630, which has the PowerVR SGX530 GPU
                                  - 8MP camera with Dual LED

Wow, even GSMArena hasn't changed this, and still makes people confused. This is the render of the Droid 2, NOT THE SHADOW. The Shadow will not have a keyboard. As far as the specs go, they are mostly wrong.

this phone has the worst screen. why 256k? when the milestone has 16m colors? it is very bad phone and i never buy it.
