Why r u come with Omnia HD? Samsung is terrible with update software/firmware. That is Samsung weakest point. Motorola and HTC are the only keep up with their official update stuff.

Haven't been in a contract since 2004!!!
With the release of the I Phone and Sprints 4g I do hope they come out with something worth having. Love all the new gadgets on the phones, But the big question is; When are they going to have all the gadgets and a Phone that has Reception like a plan old cell phone? About ready to move from verizon, they say they have the best coverage. Ha. not at my house. Can't even call from inside my house!!!
I can get the competitions. Been with Verizon since they was called Air Touch. Would hate to leave. But come on big V get a phone that works as a phone,then ad the gadgets to it.

Unfortunately, it's being reported that this has shown up in Verizon's inventory system... and with the way things are in the US, that means they'll probably get an exclusive deal on it and there won't be a GSM version for years..... :-(

Looks like a Samsung I8910 HD all over again!! (8MP/720p/OMAP CPU)except,...hard to believe that Omnia HD has turned one last month!

The name is correct the designe is not. there is no keyboard on the Xtreme. it is similar to the droid incredible

This is not the Droid 2 people. Droid 2 and the Shadow/Xtreme are two different phones.
Anyways, the Shadow/Xtreme will not:
- No Android 2.2, or else this would be called the Nexus Two (duh!), thus the name Droid Extreme
- Ninja Blur is there with Android 2.1
- No keyboard (the Droid 2 does have a keyboard)
- Pics are of older hardware, not the recent one
Moreover, if you don't like this phone, wait until Nov/Dec. 2 or 3 way better devices (even more than the EVO) will be coming.

It is running Android 2.2. If you compare a Evo with 2.2 or Samsung Galaxy with 2.2 against a Shadow 2.2, the Shadow gets stomped. I'm just stating the truth.
Look where the nexus one went from 2.1 to 2.2.
Now let the Samsung galaxy S have a similar jump and it is going to be ahead of all the competition in benchmark.

Droid Shadow keeps looking better and better
The Droid Shadow (a.k.a. the Droid X, Droid X-Treme, Droid 2) is getting closer, and today new eye-popping images appearedT. his beauty’s casing is almost completely made of metal, just like its predecessor. To make things even more sexy, it’s also rumored to be basking in Froyo goodness, and outfitted with an HDMI port. If all that’s not enough for you, then maybe the fact that it will also be running a whopping nine home screens will be. Oh, and I almost forgot – there’s no sign of Motorblur, which can be considered a blessing to some. Needless to say, this phone is definitely shaping up to be a show-stealer.

These specs are so far from true that the author could not more wrong. 750mhz? Are u kidding me? Why would moto make a sub par phone? Please revise or remove these specs. Companies like motorola dont stay behind technology when it comes to flagship products...
