Anonymous, 21 Sep 2023Same problem s22, s22+, s22ultra and entire 8gen1People are reporting battery drain on the edge 30 ultra and even on the edge 40 pro also. So clearly it’s not just a sd8 gen 1 issue. Either the Android guys or them peeps over at Qualcomm have some explaining to do.

- 60Hz act normal but not smooth
- Auto (60-120Hz) flickering brightness.
- 144Hz broken screen contrast.
Funny thing, this bug happens on 04/2023 and Moto didn't fix it until today.

Kaka, 19 Nov 2023This or Xioami 12 pro Probably this, it has 3.0 usb port, unspecified charging protocol and flat screen otherwise stock os also give clean experience. Xiaomi excel in camera department, feature rich but bloated UI, fast charging double the power of Moto and 2 years warranty in any country. So it up to you. IF I were you, I choose Moto because usb3.0 and Dec mode really helping.

... moreYep. Pretty much like an unoptimized device like a Techno or a ZTE....They sell you power specs but they don´t care about optimization or software.
That´s why i sold my Edge 30 Ultra (another huge mistake) and got an iPhone.
Motorola is out of it´s depth on high end devices

Edge 30 Pro sitting pretty with April 1st, 2023 last update, seems Motorola forgot it exists. And I've noticed some OS bugs, apps getting their data wiped. What a joke. All that RAM and CPU power for nothing.

The maxis part I just repeated what Motorola rep told me, so if he's lying then I'm wrong

Anyone notice standby battery drain Ive had this for 5 days and Ive hardly used it as in SOT but it's losing atleast 2% every hour regardless , probably be more if i started using it more? Any fixes anyone can share about this or help?
