Motorola Edge 50 gets one step closer to launch

Motorola's Edge 50 family so far comprises of the Edge 50 Fusion, Edge 50 Pro, and Edge 50 Ultra, but there's a 'vanilla' Edge 50 model coming soon too. This has already been certified by multiple authorities across the globe, and the latest one to issue it with its seal of approval is the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).

The BIS certification means the Edge 50 will definitely be sold in India, but it will also be launched internationally. The BIS certification unfortunately hasn't revealed any of the device's specs, but it does strongly hint at an official launch being imminent.

From an earlier FCC certification, we know that the Edge 50 will have a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 68W fast wired charging, and it will have NFC, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 6, GPS, and 5G on board.

As it's being certified more and more in more places, we expect a lot of details regarding the Edge 50 to be outed very soon, so stay tuned and we'll let you know when we find out more.
