Motorola Edge 70 in for review
This is the latest entry into the thin-and-light smartphone segment - meet the Motorola Edge 70. While the iPhone Air and Galaxy S25 Edge are both technically thinner, they can't come close to the Moto's presence and feel!
For starters, the Edge 70 comes in a few interesting colors, courtesy of Pantone. Ours is the Bronze Green (it's a very Selecao-themed finish). The phone has a brushed aluminum frame, a brushed camera island plate, and a brushed Moto logo, and the rest of the rear panel is a nylon-textured finish that feels like rough fabric. It's a design you can both feel and appreciate visually.
Then there's the software experience. Motorola's custom UI effects greet you from the always-on display, which is a classic Moto job with easy shortcuts for settings and notifications. Inside, the design looks very Pixel-like with some subtle Moto touches like the font, the excellent scaling, and the selection of color-matching wallpapers.
It's a software that feels interesting and cool to use.
Motorola released the Edge 70 a few days ago in a single 12/512 GB configuration, costing €800. The phone ships with a USB-C cable and a transparent MagSafe-enabled case, which is a nice touch!

It's euro 500 in EU now (there's 300 euro discount). And if you are a student or medic - there's an additional 100 euro discount. And Motorola adds many gifts with it.
