Motorola Edge+ logo surfaces thanks to FCC filing, mmWave 5G support confirmed

Enrique, 10 March 2020

Motorola’s upcoming flagship is set to replace succeed the Moto Z4. The Motorola Edge+ is expected with a dual-curved display, 108MP camera setup, and an in-display scanner. The latest leak regarding the Edge+ is the logo that was found in the FCC filing.

Along with the FCC filing, diagrams of the Moto Edge+’s antenna placement were also revealed, thus confirming the presence of mmWave 5G support – at least for the US version, which is likely coming to Verizon as a carrier-exclusive.

The FCC’s filing is usually an indication that a device is set to go on sale quite soon. We’ve not yet heard any word from either Verizon or Motorola about the Edge+, but it certainly is an exciting time for Motorola.

The Moto Edge+ is expected to come with a 5,000 mAh battery, a 6.67-inch FHD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate, up to 12GB of RAM and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865.

Is screen size larger because of bezelless design or larger physical size? For me, I don't want to carry bulky phone in my pocket.
