i just buy Motorola fire cellphones is Andriod i got the problem of GPRs settings but it manually set by the respected BSNL employee thanks for them for providing the fast service its kind of State Bank of India's emloyee, the Motorola fire cellphones is amazing of downloading from the Net this kind of cellphones no company can provided, inspite of that, i previously bought many cellphones that got hanged during downloading of the apps and clips but Motorola fire cellphones never hanged nor rendered any technical and GPRS prob i am really thankful of the Motorola company USA to provided the unthinkable gadets on the hand of the Indian public, i have no word of explaining the gadets i always thankful

Hey i am Gambhir i recently buy Motorola Fire TM XT 311 amazing features solict technologies was represented and i always chose only Motorola cellphones becasue company never made cellphones it made technologies which really appricateable and i am crzy about the Motorola cellphones this Motorola Fire never dipressed me in future i will buy Motorola Defy+ my advice Advertisement very important to cellphones in India please advertise it Thank you for providing the technologies in my hand

I have bought the FIRE XT 311 last week and i also have taken a new BSNL Postpaid connection. I find that I am unable to download the GPRS/ MMS etc., Settings for this phone and this model is not listed on the BSNL site. Even the Call Centre people of BSNL people have not been able to help me so far.
Can anyone out there help me pl?

now the 2.3.5 update is available on the indian motorola website too.
Go here to update [http://direct.motorola.com/ENA/SoftwareUpdateSelect.asp?country=IND&language=ENA&web_page_name=SUPPORT].
Also don't install any custom ROMs available in the XDA forum.Instead simply go for this update.

select XT316 as your mobile and update your android to 2.3.5 version.

I'm trying so hard to find a good root for this device.
Can anyone give me one? Am please don't offer to send me to XDA forum. The link no longer contains the files needed to root (SUT1.75, SuperOneClick2.1, RootD3, ROOT)

This is a superb phone for 8K (saholic.com). good battery back up comparing to any android phones. also its pretty cool to use its qwerty. now rooting is also available for the phone(see xda developers). this is a superb android phone 4 those who have limited budget for a smartphone.
