To start with the Tag- A complete phone! Reasons
_SImple as the followin- Style, Features-WLAN n 3g, Qwerty, Android, 16k bucks... Just too good...
It is a complete phone since it has all the features which the leading phone makers have failed to provide in their recent launches, especially a android 2.1 operatin system....
As a gadget crazy n experienced follower of all the cellpones...
This is the best cookie to look out for...

Yes, little bit pricey for what's essentially a "look at my average phone with a flip-out keyboard"

a gr8 design
thnx to design team for unveiling a product like this
its similar to x501 but i will opt for flip out
Motorola finally got d formula to retain their spot which they struggled to find out
thts why experimented with java and linux
but their key of success is android

IanMedina, 16 Jun 2010Hey Motorola..you should've put a front-cam for videocall..Suggest you ask Google, it says Android currently doesn't support video call...

German customers will be able to buy the Motorola Flipout via Vodafone, O2 and The Phone House, for €349 ($428) free of contract.
The Flipout is one of the most interesting Android handsets announced until now, featuring a flipping QWERTY keyboard, Android 2.1, MotoBlur, a 2.8 inch QVGA touchscreen display, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Google Maps (with free navigation – where available), Crystal Talk technology, 3.5mm headset jack, and a 3MP photo camera

phoneaddict, 12 Jun 2010Motorola shouldn't have made a flip out model. Screen shoul... morei used a sidekick for almost 3 years not once did i have a problem with the flip, i bought the sidekick in 2006, we are now in 2010 i think the flip should be just as good or maybe better,, thank you

phoneaddict, 12 Jun 2010Motorola shouldn't have made a flip out model. Screen shoul... moreSeems like you needed a Q9/Q11 with "bar and qwerty" design...
But then the Q9/Q11 became just like another bar with qwerty phone, not really apart from other brands from a glance.
The "turn" design is what makes this phone special...and keep its size fully "pocketable" like SE X10 mini, yet the screen is larger with a more comfortable keypad.
If you ever worry about the "turn" function would not work properly, suggest you ask owners of V70/V80 and see if their "turn" function ever failed before they sold their phones.
