It's called and aperture and an implementation like Samsung's would only make the bump 1mm thicker, maybe not even that if it's added strategically. Sony's xperia I pro implementation is much more impressive and that bump is not large considering the camera behind it. The solutions to having better cameras and keeping to smartphone light would to put flahship cameras on smaller phones but manufacturers don't do that because they hate the people that give them money and they want them to "feel the weight" of their purchase.

It's more likely that they meant USB C with Power Delivery 2.0

Manufacturers don't always give read rights to the app so a 50mp may show as 12.5mp for example, sensor is still real.

Litterary any phone withstand few raindrops and not even a strongest most certified phone i would take to a sea for swim. It will die instantly.
As long as no manufacturer includes IPXX resistance into regular waranty costly gimmick called IPXX resistance makes no sense.
Paying lot of euros for something which is not guaranteed is like betting my house on ruleta on a red color.
Same goes with gorrila glass screen where mst people buy screen protector anyway.
Many other simmialr things cam be expressed same way.

Wanna see first phone manufacturer to give you a water damae warranty then we can speak about water resistance and the fact IPXX will be no longer called useless gimmick.
Unless above is fulfilled nothing will change and people will pay for feature which have no real life impact.

Samsung offer 3 OS update 4 year security update in A series phone while S series phone it's +1 for both.
Moto had best update support few years ago, but now moto does not even in best support race.
