massie, 11 Mar 2011moto sucks big time, how can u make an "good phone&quo... moreThis is a budget phone to suit people who are on a budget or people who need a phone to um......dare I say phone with or text. A lot of people dont care for smart phones. So get over yourself. Oh and by the way Nokia is losing ground fast. Ever read the open letter that the CEO of Nokia sent his staff? They running scared. So get over your sinking ship that is Nokia.

massie, 11 Mar 2011moto sucks big time, how can u make an "good phone&quo... moreNot every part in the world can afford smart phones or their functions will be optimized. And if you will picture the wealth distribution pyramid, most individuals are in the bottom part and only a few can afford the smart phones. Most cellphone buyers have a tight budget. And moto is not a phone ONLY for the elite but to everyone and based on the sales of moto, I think most of their income comes from the sales of their low end phones. Bottom line, please think outside the box :D

Like they say in the ad, "great design never goes out of fashion"

Absolutely gorgeous phone, MOTO still haven´t lost it´s touch to design clamshell phones... There´s still people out there who prefer keypad phones...
Maybe this is the last hurrah for clamshell phones!

                          ****************************************************** FIRST POST
                          ******************************************************

First dont think i'm a motorola company guy trying to promote the product..

I've always been an fan of motorola's razr type clamshell design.. real big fan..
The slim metallic body looks really really cool and stylish.. The external display..

The way you can flip it open and shut to hang up.. Aaawesome..

                          Unfortunately though..
I was in school when the v3 was launched, fell in love with it but could not ask my dad to get me one..
Couple of years later when i was in college.. Could afford the v3,it was discontinued here in india..

New hopes came with the razr2..
But alas it was expensive.. used to cost around 15000 rupees (around us$300)..
So still could not buy it..

Then i thought that motorola would keep continuing with the series..

But then the razr2 was also called off and nothing came after in its succession..

Bought other flip phones like samsung sghx480, lg gb125, nokia 2720.. but none felt like the look and feel of the razr..

QWERTY and touchscreens kept bombarding the market again and again with screens getting bigger and keypads getting non existant.. Felt like the good old flip phones would be extinct..

But a couple of dayd ago i see videos of this on youtube and my joy has no bounds..

I'm gonna buy at least 4 of these..

                          CHEERS MOTO...

                          Don't doubt this.. True story..
