i've had this phone for over 2 years and no problems at all, it works fine. a lot of cry-babies complained that it shows a different person texted you, really... that's not something to freak out about. this phone works fine for what it was made to do.

If I could go back between chossing this phone or having no phone I would choose no phone :/ it is always freezing and is suuper slow. Mine starts scrolling by itself alot to and the middle button thingy won't press down so I have to use the voice command to get to things like my contacts (and the voice command sucks to...it is always calling people or seanding them messages when I say things like go to contacts). It is just a terrible phone and I can't wait till next year when my contract is up an I can get a new one :/

This phone is the worst phone EVER!! My phone wont charge, AT ALL!! When you are in your messages it will send the same message OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN!! Do Not reccomnd this phone to anyone! Unless you hate them!!

like other people have said this phone shows that i get a message from a contact when the message is actually from another contact. and like others i disliek this phone. its slow and freezes a lot. i just got it back from repair because the touch pad was not responding. It still doesnt respond at times. i just got the phone in june because i fell and broke my old flip phone so i decided to try the grasp. it was ok at first. i noticed it was slow but i just dealt with it. then the touch pad would spaz on me and wouldnt stop moving. so i would have to take out the battery and restart it.

My phone has alot of the same problems that were already said...like my joystick doesnt work anymore and i have only had this phone for 5 months. The cover on the back doesnt fit all the way on and when i drop it (i am very clumsy) the back pops off and the battery falls out. When I get a text it says its someone else in my contacts so im not ever sure whos texting me until i onpen the message...other then all of that stuff i really do like this phone. Its a nice size and its easy to understand!

I do not like my phone. When i receive text messages from people it comes up as a different contact in my phone so i never know who is really texting me. I did get a new grasp before my 30 days was up and this one does the same thing.

I have a Windows XP computer, and I am only able to connect the phone to charge it. The computer does not recognize the phone. I tried downloading and installing the driver, but with no success.

i have had this phone since november and i hate it more and more everyday. it turns itself off, lags like crazy, has terrible call quality, kicks me out of my inbox, sometimes sends LITERALLY over 50 blank messages when im trying to unlock it, and the navigation system is terrible. never ever even think about buying this phone

I've had this phone since last August, and it's ok. It is nice and small, the browser is nice, but the camera sucks. It's got HORRIBLE lag time once you get over a certain number of texts, but all in all it's pretty decent. The back of mine comes off all the time and one of the latches on it snapped off, I love that it's eco friendly, which is probably the main reason I bought it!

One of the 2 things must have happened in your case-
1. Media for msg ringtone was in card which is getting removed and put back hence the switching back to default ring tone
2. Media could be DRM whose right could have expired (either by time or by count)hence falling back to dflt
