Aditional memory is Micro SD, I think that the maximum size is 2Gb, I´m using 1Gb and it works fine. I'm also using Windows Vista Home Premium with Motorola Phone Tools ver. 4.51 and works with no problem at all.

                  Attention:
                  Don't buy from e-buy-global.com !
It's strange that they got mobile phones 70% cheaper, e.g. 8600 Luna - $150. It's that odd, that it doesn't even cover production expenses...
So, my advice: don't even write to them. They aren't really from Italy! Their host is somewhere in Israel! It might aswell be some kid playing around behind his PC, and getting his money off our backs.
When I asked for their company's registration number, business rate, or something like that, the director replied to me they haven't got it for anybody. 'Cause that's something that has to be made public, so anyone may verify it.
Thanks! Bye! P.S.: Please tell others, too!

I've been using this phone for a month now. It's great. Very easy to use. Great camera and videos and quite long(up to 5min). Camera can be used when phone is closed, for self portrets, you can see yourself on the outer screen. The screen is not small(well at first it is if you have been using V3i) but you can see everything in direct sunlight! MP3 is very loud, even when walking near very traffic street you can hear it normally. For MP3 it has to be bit rate:128kbps up to 192. It won' work on any other. Though I found no use for Digital Audio Player. I started it once, takes long time to load and you can't use when phone is closed. Keypad is brilliant, maybe a little bit small at first(42mm)but very soft with edges so you can't miss a number/letter. Memory is 20mb, not much use for it. But if you buy micro sd you can put everything on it. I have 2gb. No freezing of phone of any kind. Very happy with this phone, had before motorola SLVR L7, V525. Sony ericsson W300i, T630. So this is an excellent phone. After a while not that expensive.

The phone is beautiful. Unfortunately, I've experienced some problems with it. The warranty support has been incredibly frustrating. Read the details here: http://motophonesupport.blogspot.com/.

you can click the lower button on the left side of the phone to take your picture using the external display

the reason why sms becomes mms when you send it, is that you are sending a long message. try to send a short one up to 2 pages only.

Hello! I'm considering this phone as I really like it's general appearence but I do like to use the MP3 player, does anyone know how many songs [approx.] the standerd memory holds, without extra memory etc.
                                Thank you!

I as well have been having problems with SMS (text) messages somehow being converted / going out as MMS (Multi-media messages, such as pic.).

My first KRZR did it and now, my SECOND KRZR is doing it...

Cingular / ATT don't know what to do and I have gone through BOTH of these phones in less than four months...

Any tips or pointers, please help... Otherwise I love this phone but it is a PAIN to eat through your monthly data plan with unintended MMS messages and it is a pain for friends and family and associates to have to eat through their data plan, multimedia messaging allowance to view what SHOULD be a simple text message...

                                    Help Please!
Just got my CDMA KRZR (am located in Korea though not a Korean) just recently. I have installed the latest MPT (4.5.1c) but when I connect my phone to the PC using the original Moto USB cable, the system can't detect my phone. It keeps on saying "Initializing.... Please wait..."
One thing also, MS700 is not listed on the list of available phone (since the Korean release CDMA KRZR is MS700 but not sure it it's the same with K1M or whatever suffix. But then I selected the K1M).
Anybody could please help me if I still have to install drivers or whatever to make my phone known to the PC. Any help would greatly be appreciated.
                                    Many, many thanks!

The Good: Battery Life, ive had it last up to 7 days, im used to 3 days max from other phones. Camera, brilliant for a 2mp camera, far better than sony ericsson 2mp cameras. User Interface, menus easy set out, not slow at texting, aided by a very good camera.
The Bad: MP3 volume, very low when you plug earphones in (not so bad through the loudspeaker). Screen a bit small. Has frozen a few times and sometimes the phone turns itself off after you unplug it from when its finished charging, and you have to take the battery out before it will turn back on. No flash makes it useless for pics at night.
The Ugly: Well, its not, its an amazingly good looking phone. It very thin and the shiney front makes it one smart looking phone.
Overall, 7/10, DEFINATLEY WORTH A BUY IF YOU WANT A HIGHLY STYLISH PHONE AND HAVE A TOP OF THE RANGE DIGI CAM OR IPOD, however, if you want a better camera and mp3 player, buy a sony ericsson k810, it looks very nice but has a much better camera and mp3 player.
