As a non-gay, redhead-woman loving heterosexual man who has visited SF, I would say this is one of the best phones I've ever used. {SF rocks by the way}
This was, and remains, the best phone before you step up into the world of smartphones (that are bricks, not phones)
You can record actual voices and use them as individual ringtones! Caller ID to the next level!
The 2.0 camera is amazing. I use those photos to post stuff on Craigslist. Being able to carry a phone that doubles as a GOOD camera is great. Since it's a thin phone, it doesn't make my pockets bulge. I DO THAT ON MY OWN! Giggity!
Why Moto stopped making this phone is beyond me.
If you get one of these, you've got a unicorn.
Use it as a spare or as your regular daily phone.
Sliced bread is good, but this phone is better!

A well built and easy to use phone. Good memory capacity and useful camera. The predictive text can be a little 'off the wall' but generally a good tool and available at a very reasonable price. I'd recommend the K1.

I liked this phone and it was the first phone I could surf the web on.
Not being gay I can't see how it is sexy but well designed though.
Sadly finger grease from the keyboard smeared off to to the screen and the clock never kept the time correctly.
Gave away my K1 to my girlfriend that still keep the K1 as a back-up phone

As an openly gay man in SF, I need a phone that can catch attention! This phone is just sexy! I bought mine in 08 and still have it! It is the best looking phone EVER! if you want attention, and looks this is a phone even now! 10/10

it is nothing but complete foolishness.I have mine from July 2010 untill now and the sreen has one giant crack,theone freezes and is slow,it cant keep up with my txting speed,the emy card does not work anymore,but the only good things i have to say about the fone is that sound is good,camera is good and the battery is good (only for about 1-3 months).......

This phone is amazing, i had the phone for a longtime(sadley i lost the phone @ a restaurent..never found it again)
phone is really durable and has a good network reception, long batterie life (when charged correctley) , i recommend it !

ive had it for 1 yr.the front has cracked,bits of glass are cutting me when they fall out. its really slow and the sound is terrible, when i open it it makes a high pitched squealing noise which is very irritating. it heavy and large. its not a great phone, i cant wait to get a new one and i would not reccomend it.

This phone is just class-gorgeous styling and evry feature you will ever need on a phone-leave it on table and yr friends can't keep hands off it. Still get them on ebay-bought one to have after this one stops...just do it..!!!

Best phone bought in December 2006. Still working no complaints no problems.
I think it will go for another 4 years if the system stays the same.

Mine has lasted 3 years so far and has not failed me at all. I bought 2nd battery after 2 years; made sure to get OEM battery on third party market (inexpensive). Phone runs just fine! Sorry about you experience but DON'T TRASH THE PHONE JUST BECAUSE YOURS WAS A DUD.

This phone is a piece of junk. Had it 4 months, and is now dead. Kept getting a white screen, and then not even that. Cost too much to have repaired. Would not buy a 2nd one
