Just got the k1 for x-mas, and I hate to say it, but this phone is junk. Oh sure, it looks beautiful (until you touch it for the first time, the front gets greasier than a mechanichs rag)but the features are nothing special. But the real problem is the battery. This thing takes forever to charge (I mean over 24 hours if it's the first charge) and it's charging is unreliable. It will charge ok for a short time, then suddenly, it will turn itself off and stop charging. Also, the battery life is awful, fruitflies live longer than this thing. So, if all you care about is good looks, go nuts and get a krzr, but if you want a phone that works, the freebies they give away with subscription to a service are better and more reliable than this thing. Utter crap, only good for people who can afford something that looks nice but doesn't work.

Bob you need to look at the new Nokia N95 with its Built-in GPS navigation with Maps covering over 100 countries,Takes upto 2gb memory card,plus loads more excelent features & still looks far better than any motorola,billys.phones4u@yahoo.co.uk

Hi i just got the K1 on xmas day but can't seem 2 send any picture msgs or video msgs out of my phone, can anyone tell me why cause i can't figure it out. would really appreciate ur help any1.

I'm planning on buying a flip phone, but I'm not quite sure which one... The KRZR is definitely one of the best looking ones, but I drop my phone A LOT so I'm not sure... But how much does the KRZR K1 cost in the Middle East/Dubai?

nokia is only better at creating bloated and ugly pieces of garbage. but thanks for your opinion, bob. my KRZR K1 gets great signal.

I would just like to formally state that ever since this phone has hit the market,it has dramatically changed my aspect of life. The incredible features has meant that my life is now at its greatest peak. The slim and sheek look which it portrays has brightened up my image to a newer level. This product will definately be making an appearence at the ever anticiapted summadayze. Motorola you never let me down. Peace.

What kind of headset do you have to have to hear the mp3 player on it? I got the H500 but the player doesn't work on the headset.

Get a camera if you want a good picture quality. Even the SE 3.2 mp and Nokia 3.2mp picture quality no way to match my humble casio 2.5 mp camera.........anyway Jenny side track.....seems u have nice time there :)

the phones camera is crap even though its 2mp i've saw phones with 1.3mp with a clearer camera better of with the v3i in my opinion

hey i have this phone about 20 days.its a very good phone.very nice desing and has many feutures.i suggest you to buy ths phone.its a perfect phone for teenagers!!!!one thing it doesent have and i would like to have it is wifi.but it steel is a great phone!!!!

I've had this phone since the 8th, and I'm impressed. Definately the best one I've had (then again, I have a long line of 'bricks' to my name) but good as it is, the graphics on the menu are really poor!! So disappointing... and my camera is a little dodgy; sometimes doesn't like working! Love the design though, but the front picks up prints so easily... Fantastic phone, nonetheless!

And what exactly is so wrong with Moto software ? Today you get the same icons on ALL phones when you press the menu key: a book, a letter, a wrench, a globe etc. Plus you can make shortcuts for the most frequently used features. How is that so bad on Moto and so great on other phones ? Also Moto has logical keys, not the idiotic back and C keys plus soft keys which never offer things you need like SE. So, once again, how is Moto software so bad ?

motorola makes nice phones, however they need to update their software to something of this age, their os is pretty old, and other manufacturers like Nokia, SE, and Samsung are killing them. Also how long can the razr concept last for, the krzr is a nice phone,however someone from motorola should start thinking of other concepts instead of making 15 copies of one, same goes for the Rokr and the Slvr. Originality WAS motorola strong point not anymore.
