multitouch on the Motorola Droid was "better" than on the Nexus One, or that the Nexus One's multitouch is "broken." That was shown with and app called Multitouch Visible Test.
Here's our own unscientific test using a different app, called MultiTouch Visualizer. While it actually runs a little more smoothly on the Droid, it doesn't have nearly the same problem tracking multiple points on the Nexus One that Multitouch Visible Test had.

100 Moto, 06 Mar 2010Did you ever use any Windows Mobile? Customization is much... moreafter asking u about the dext , i finally got this last nite .
build and call quality is excellent but software needs urgent updading .. fb contacts doont sync like on the nexus .. physical keypad is not aligned with the screen .. so my left thumb is used more than the right one while typing as the right hand gets restricited by the tapering design ..
would prefer the dext over this because of the well designed keypad on the dext ..
i dont like the keypad at all .. i have put this phone on ebay after one day of use ..
i want a kepad like the xperia mini pro .. or like the htc touch pro2 ..
ive sold my htc hd2 to get this and now i regret it.. windows mobile on the htc hd2is beautiful.. all other winmo phones are rubbish when compared to hd2 ..
but as i need a keypad its the toshiba tg01 that ill get or xperia mini pro .. but this phone i do not like ...if only they had designed the keypad well i would keep this phone for 2 yrs at least .

Fantasti... moreDid you ever use any Windows Mobile? Customization is much much worse than Android and if you think font size / keypad for Android is small, u might need a microscope on WM.
That's my (terrible) experience with WM, so bad to the point I sold my A3100 (but don't foresee I'll sell my Milestone...)

Hi everybody,
Bought this phone few days ago.
Fantastic hardware. Moto at its best. Quality of build superb. Excellent sound.Processor fast.Solid camera performance.
On the other hand rather dissapointing software, like its not finalised and polished yet. This phone has only raw Android and is clearly lacking some much more user friendly UI (like Motoblur or Sense). Some very ordinary functions are either missing or are incomplete, as proper call and data transfer log. Everything is white, grey and black. The fonts are unbeleivably small, it takes a hawk to read messages. Google integration (or supremacy) has probably gone to far with this phone, so it came to that you cannot use a basic function like a calender organizer without priorly registered your Google account. Rather strange.
Congratulations for Motorola and hopefully they are now back where they belong, but not too happy with this unolished Android situation.

Can milestone screen be tilted?
Would be a travesty if users have to hold the phone straight upwards everytime..

anyone notice that on the qwerty keyboard the y and z are switched in all pictures!! Droid does qwertz. Droid does.

i love motorola.
straight to the point features and confident with the build and looks because their phones are made of high quality materials. screens are from sharp japan.
also they have the best sound quality.
