they just want to introduce an... moreI still wonder why this (and other sites) seems to be so keen on the almighty brand? Is it due to the fact the almighty brand has been paying these sites for promotion / ads? I'm now @ the Moto page but I see the almighty brand's ad on the right hand column.
The almighty brand charges so much on their phones and I believe a good chunk of the money went to the massive ads EVERYWHERE.
But I'd rather have my $ be spent on R&D and quality. (look at how most almighty brand phones are made of cheap plastic, vs. the sturdy metal like Moto / Milestone) Then give us the rest "back" as discount / lower price.
Think about the "launch price" for N97/mini vs. Milestone....

this is good review but at last gsmarena taint this review with mention other cheap phone
why they compare milestone with n97 or other weak phones (except nexus) !!???? shame
however n97 even cant beat moto dext

Still can't understand why GSM Arena has to bring the almighty brand into the review of Milestone....worst yet, seemed GSM Arena digged very hard to find "advantage" of Nxx over Milestone.
One of them being the price. First of all, N97 is x months old, vs. Milestone is about a month old (where I live).
Secondly, GSM Arena emphasized the fact BOTH N97 & N900 are being sold "less" than Milestone.
Mind to share with me where you get such data? I just checked the biggest chain in HK, which sells unlock phones without contract at MSRP.
Milestone: US$600
N97: US$600
No price for N900 yet, still, will N900 be sold for "less" than N97? I doubt so.

Droid = CDMA
Milestone = GSM
If you get a Milestone, it will only work with AT&T or T-mobile in USA. If you want such device to work with Verizon, you have to get the Droid from Verizon, no choice.

Droid Gets Overclocked to 1.1 GHz
Thanks to the guys at Alldroid, the Motorola Droid just got its processor overlocked and can now run at speeds as high as 1.1GHz. The ARM Cortex A8 Processor in the Droid typically runs at 550MHz so that's exactly double the frequency. To be honest, the guys who did the overclocking actually said 800GHz is actually the .... .

I currently have a bb tour with sprint...I was thinking of getting a new line and buying this phone unlocked...but I see there isn't anything on the spec sheet about cdma...but the droid is with vzw which is cdma...does anyone know the deal... Also I was wondering if I should get this or should I wait for the "rumored" htc supersonic...I love my blackberry but I use to have a g1 and I miss my android OS ( and I really didn't like the samsung moment) any suggestions????

I'm surprised to read everywhere how expensive MILESTONE is against other smartphones.
In Argentina I bought it for U$300 but I'm obligated to keep a U$30 monthly fee for my calls for 18 months. Nokia's and Samsung's smartphones, at least down here are WAAAAAAAY more expensive, almost 50-70% more. Even an LG without Wifi is 50% more expensive!

has anyone else noticed that the keyboard for this handset is wrong? the "Y" and "Z" are in the opposite places making this not a QWERTY style keyboard but a QWERTZ keyboard. either these photos are wroing, or someone at motorola is dyslexic.
