Motorola XT720 spreading Android, BLUR to South Korea?
Though its market share pales against the home teams, Motorola has maintained a continued presence in South Korea for some time -- and seeing how the company is going all-in with Android globally, it makes sense that they'd be launching it here, too. Enter the alleged XT720, a localized version of the XT701 that's seeing duty on China Unicom on the other side of the Yellow Sea. Rumor has it this will be coming to SK Telecom, but details are sketchy and conflicting: Mirae Asset Research says the phone will feature a 5 megapixel cam while the source of this picture here says it's 8; they're also quoting the screen as a 3.7-inch 480 x 640 unit, but clearly, it's going to be WVGA if the pic is legit. The research firm believes we'll see this launch next month which would likely make this the first high-end device out of Moto to feature BLUR; whether that's a good thing or not, though, is strictly a matter of personal opinion.

Telus' Motorola Milestone gets a date?
We've known for quite a while that Motorola's Milestone was steaming its way towards Telus, but what we didn't know -- aside from the irritatingly vague Q1 2010 -- was exactly what day you could expect to find yourself lined up for yours -- you are getting one, aren't you Canada? We've now heard that January 26th is the rumored target date for Telus' missing hero Android device, and that suits us just fine -- though, we're still waiting on a dollar figure. But please keep in mind, dates -- or rumors, that can prove to be completely untrue -- like this can slip, so don't come pounding on our doors if this slips back down the calendar. We'll be watching for Telus' Milestone closely and hopefully hear a little more soon.

I was looking in the dragon ROM dump, and there are some high res assets in there. High res meaning 800x480, it would still look a bit off since Droid uses 854x480. The only thing needing photoshop would be the background in that case. A widget designed for 800x480 would look great, same for the hi-res version of the keyboard.

Google didn't license "Droid" from Lucasarts, which makes the Moto Droid better than Nexus One.......

Flash Player 10.1 in action on Moto Droid
(LIKE MILESTONE)
During CES it was announced by Motorola that it would be sending out an update to their Android devices to enable Flash with Flash Player 10.1. As you can see from the video (embedded after the break), Flash has been optimized for the Droid chipset and runs pretty darn smooth.
You can see Flash on the Droid looks like it is ready to go. And the Nexus One owners thought they had a leg up on Droid owners ...
So what are you waiting for Motorola, give us the goods already along with Android 2.1!

my friend has this phone for 3week
phone do the work wery well
screen is realy gorgeous and very responcive
this is realy fast an multitask and internet speed is like iphone or maybe beter camera i way way beter than iphone
material and assemble is Unrivaled
but battery is good just for 1.5day

I Tried to find out from vodacom if this handset is hitting our shores(s.a) any time soon and it look like chances are very slim,since they say the haven't been receiving anything from motorola 4 a long while.

Looking at this for 1st smart phone, one question, does it only support gmail for push email or will it do it for other eg my hotmail?
Either way very likely to get this phone seems to tick all the boxes for me. Was looking at the N900 but after using in Nokia store found it a bit to big for day to day use, also touch screen didn't seem v. responsive.

it looks gr8....big screen and every....b im still not sure abt da Android OS, v2 (Eclair)system....im using and htc runnung wm 6.5....i still live windows which also hav full keyboards which is jus amazing typing for pc lovers...bt will just have to see how it goes

the Droid can be rooted but the Milestone can't
just don't want everyone to get mixed up
